Hillary Clinton now seen as 'Risky Gamble' for Democrats [MERGED]

… were she never attached maritally and politically to Bill Clinton, she never would be in the position of being so close to the nomination of her party for the Presidency. She had a running start, springboarding from her convenient relationship with a man...

I think it’s the other way around. Without his convenient relationship with a woman (his wife), Bill Clinton would never have become president.

I wanted to contact the Hillary Clinton campaign, but I can't find any way to leave a message there. Tips, anybody?

I wanted to suggest that, rather than Hillary stalling on transcripts (wherever they may even exist) of speeches or conferences with Wall Street, she SHOULD RELEASE what is available...even if no Republican does.

THAT WOULD MAKE HER "BETTER THAN THE REPUBLICANS."

No matter how much anything would show her cozying up to the Big Banksters etc., I have no doubt that the Republicans have done it even more. Of course that in no way gives her a pass.

Well there was James Buchanan, but he got by carrying his crucial home state.

She plays up the feminism but as I have said a number of times before, were she never attached maritally and politically to Bill Clinton, she never would be in the position of being so close to the nomination of her party for the Presidency. To be fair, they were acknowledged as a political power couple, neither having been born into any kind of political dynasty.
You seem quick to dismiss her abilities, despite holding office in positions that are at an elite level within global politics.

Sanders' strength is in his isolation from power, which arguably has allowed him greater freedom to act as an activist. The politics of compromise is messy in a democracy.
It would be nice if he doesn't have to compromise his ideals once in power, but if he is forced to, will disillusionment hit as fast amongst the voting base as it did for Obama?

Hillarys desperate Plea to End Race: Im out of Cash and im out of Time

The wall street financed Clinton campaign is running out of time and out of money. HRC is still making pit stops to fund-raise.

With polls set to close in Michigan soon, Bernie sanders is leading in early returns.

Sanders supporters should not be satisfied with these early results as HRC is still favored to win the Michigan primary. Its likely to remain a close race, but the Clinton campaign is desperate to dampen the energy of the race as they struggle to keep up with Sanders fundraising and excitement.

As much as the mainstream media and democratic establishment seek to control the primary process, these special interest forces are waging a war on democrats ability to win in November- with their continued short sighted support of the weaker general election candidate in HRC.

^ Yes, Hillary is probably favored, because the returns so far include nearly nothing from Wayne County. If previous patterns in other states hold, that is likely a Clinton stronghold. [Major black population in that county, includes Detroit.]

Holy fuck...Bernie is demolished in Mississippi, something like 82%/17%

Re: Hillarys desperate Plea to End Race: Im out of Cash and im out of Time

Perhaps the Wall Street donors are spooked at her anti-risk campaign so they have bolted.

These ridiculous evanrick thread titles are looking progressively more like desperate headlines screaming out of supermarket checkout lines with each passing day.

As far as I have researched it seems to have gone back at least a year. I wonder how many converts they have created in the meantime, or how many Hillary voters

I've appealed to the mod to stop this crapflood but so far nothing.

Thank you!

And, message sent.

I doubt she'll actually see it, and she may not like my last sentence but, hey, I came totally "clean" to her.

My thoughts about TRANSCRIPTS of paid speeches (and/or conferences) with Wall Street...

Hillary, you have said that you will release transcripts (if, of course they exist) of what was discussed or said in speeches with Wall Street, when everybody else does the same.

Why not, instead, release them...and DARE the Republican candidates to release their transcripts? Of course, it's not very likely that they will.

This would indicate that you are showing some transparency with these issues, while the Republican candidates will inevitably continue to stonewall.

IF YOU'RE NOMINATED: please include the Democratic ideals of upholding and preserving the right to vote in your campaign...AND, yes, the SUPREME COURT is of "supreme" importance and yet is a topic rarely touched in elections.

To be honest, I'm voting for Sanders in the primary...but there is nothing (short of death) that will stop me from voting for you this Fall if you're the one on the Ballot.

Freedom of speech. Let him post and let critics argue against his posts.

I have to say that is along the lines of the 1st Amendment around here. It isn't against the rules to post, however voluminous. Actually the forum looks busier than ever. It's nice that some new life has been breathed into it.

That's true.
Seems most posters are completely disregarding the Republican campaign as a dead-dog Trump failure. The real story now is which Democrat gets the presidency.
Interesting to watch.

Re: Hillary Clinton now seen as 'Risky Gamble' for Democrats

Well, I will say that it is pretty clear that Sanders voters are the voters the DNC should be trying to court, as they are younger voters and the future of the party. Given what has been seen from the DNC Establishment, whether you think it is justifiable or not, can in all likelihood cost Hillary a General Election win in November. Like it or not, Hillary is not winning any General Election if the Sanders voters don't show up in enough numbers to push her over the top. And that is highly doubtful.

I would encourage anyone who thinks Hillary is in good shape in a General Election to check out the last 5 national polls of her vs Trump on Real Clear Politics, and her vs Trump in Battleground states like Ohio, Florida, and even Pennsylvania. The fact that even Pennsylvania is in play this time is horrible news for the DNC.

Bullshit.

The majority of Bernie voters will vote for whoever the Democrat Candidate is. Their motivation..uh..just take a look at the Republicans....

The rest of the Bernie voters are Trump voters anyway....even if they don't know it yet. They are so busy worrying about "the establishment" that has been framed as "THE ISSUE" that Trump won't have to do anything to get their vote..because he already has it.

What transcripts do Republicans have to disclose? They do not need to hide the fact that they are pro business, pro capitalism, and anti socialist.

You do understand when support becomes corruption, don't you?
