Hillary is counting on Corporate-Industrial complex to keep her campaign alive

We should be able to trash talk the candidates all we want..(although only talking about their positives would be more constructive)...but stop with the pissing on one another.

no you cant trash talk Hillary, its against her supporters point of view because they see themselves as victims of sexism etc etc etc, aka political correctness and use that as a shield against actual criticism. that is a false premise to operate from. if the only thing people understand is what they are saying why not communicate in a way they understand?

i wish more people would start their own threads too, as far as i can tell less than 20% of the people here who have options actually participate and even fewer add substance to ANYTHING!

if your not adding substance, you are finger pointing.

Hilary supporters can support her all they want and that's fine BUT I think she's fake and half way in the old peoples home.

There's my opinion.:=D:

But you see...you are doing it again.

You went right for here supporters on here, not her.

Trash talk Hillary all you want. Let them trash talk Bernie all they want.

Use facts to demonstrate your claims. Not exaggerations. Not lies. Not insults. Just facts.

But everyone...for the love of Pete....stop trashing one another.

Respect that people have very different, pragmatic, emotional, intellectual, moral, philosophical, tactical and a whole lot of other 'al' reasons for fixing on the candidate they want. The public at large will make their choice and it will be the public at large....there is not one person on JUB who will or won't make the difference to the outcome. And threats and anger and pennant waving won't do it.

It is more visceral than that.

Dude.

You made up all of that rhetoric so you could argue with it.

the first reply to this thread dismissed facts as 'random bitching' how do you communicate with someone who cant see facts other than fighting fire with fire?

^ You should think about this very carefully.

A number of the claims you made in your opening post are not supported either by sources and so cold be construed as driven by personal animus against HRC. In fact, you indicate, they came off the top of your head.

The way to win an argument is to present all the facts and citations. This is how we communicate. Hurling opinions and insults is not going to win the day for anyone.

And the only thing that comes of fighting fire with fire is that everything burns down.

It is up to the people who post a topic to back up their assertions with citations or facts in order to generate a well balanced and civil argument.

It isn't our 'job' to spend our time researching and doing all the work.

It is why so many threads in this forum are designed to fail. Once you have presented your case for the claims you are making, then it is up to the reader to decide whether they wish to challenge your sources and claims.

We do this with Benvolio all the time...liberals aren't exempt from this standard either.

What this does is to set the groundwork for discussions based on solid facts or third party opinions and removes it from the realm of being the kind of insane personal insult fest that 99% of the political sites become.

So there.

Now you've posted some broader opinions and sources, the readers can decide whether or not to challenge them.

Hopefully this will result in a more civil discourse.
