Hillary says she will help struggling Americans. Why Should We Believe that she would?

There were plenty of people in the senate, democrats, who were more interested in protecting America than starting a long protracted war with islam that put our allies at risk. Making excuses for Clinton now wont bring those soldiers lives back or undo the destabilizing effects that war brought to the region.

Nor will voting for Trump.

or we continue to look the other way when Hillary turns her back on consumers and our national security?

That is compromising, because thats all you people believe you can do.

Oh, yes. That's FAR worse than Trump turning his back on all those companies and workers he hired to build his casinos and hotels and then didn't pay.

Yes, that's far, far worse!

(To borrow from The Man himself, I was being sarcastic. Just in case you didn't catch it.)

I would note that Hillary's vote was not the deciding vote that took the US into Bush's war.

As much as you want to lay 100% of the responsibility for the war in Iraq with her...the dog don't hunt.

You just look unhinged by repeating the same old tired talking point again and again. At least you've dropped the stupid point that you were previously making that Trump didn't vote for the US to go after Saddam Hussein.

Hillary Clinton's arguably 2nd biggest mistake during her 'spectacular' tenure in the senate was her flip flop on banks biggest wish at the time: reforming bankruptcy laws that was making issuing credit to ordinary borrowers 'less profitable'.

Its 2016 and the biggest banks have never been bigger. Clinton said that vote was a mistake, that she is glad the bill didn't become law.

The link you included doesn’t address that issue. Please provide additional background information.

Seeing as this is a two horse race, it appears very likely that Trump's own policies (now fairly well worn recycled GOP policy) will accelerate the growth of poverty.
So I guess a good starting point is facing the fact that the comparison isn't with flat growth for the poor, it's with negative growth.

Any improvement she achieves will of course be considerably better than what the GOP has in store for America's workers and unemployed.

Nothing will be better. Democrats nominated a moderate. They may have a small majority in the senate but do we really think they will be able to overcome a filibuster and the ensuing political chaos without the support of the democratic-left?

not at all likely. there will be little to no improvement under a Clinton administration. democrats chose to handcuff themselves to the political gridlock by nominating Clinton, Clintons baggage is her own, something true progressives are not responsible for carrying.

Sanders wouldn't have a chance.
Trump would be a buffoonish figurehead for a GOP that's been taken over by the tea party.

Clinton's baggage is unprovable claims by her political rivals. Claims so dumb they're often followed by 'well prove she didn't'...

So are you going to respond to Opinterph's request?

Her plan to continue the flood of immigrants and grant amnesty to many millions of illegals, guarantees that poverty will expand and deepen.

You're slipping Ben, you forgot to mention all those abortions of Real Americans™ Obama personally performed.

When the Dems controlled Congress they extended unemployment benefits several times.

When the GOP go control they cut unemployment benefits and food stamps.

The GOP didn't need to, with the economy improved the deficit was rapidly shrinking, but they did it anyways.

Still no link..................

There is no link. The first link he posted had nothing to do with what he talked about. It was just a misleading tactic, to make us think he actually knew what he was talking about.

Status quo, huh?

That's a HELL of a lot better than electing a guy who has the entire world economy in his crosshairs, and wants to destroy it - knowing that, as usual, his own "economy" will improve via whatever devious and exotic bankruptcy arrangements he always makes.

How many millions are you making by closing your Taj mahal, Donald?

Probably slightly off topic but worthy of note none the less:

Fascism, Orwell continued, is psychologically far sounder than any hedonistic conception of life … Whereas Socialism, and even capitalism in a more grudging way, have said to people “I offer you a good time,” Hitler has said to them, “I offer you struggle, danger, and death,” and as a result a whole nation flings itself at his feet … We ought not to underrate its emotional appeal.

And neither should we underestimate the appeal of Donald trump to his true followers.

Say it a million times.

Hillary voted along with the majority on the information available, which was by subsequent accounts, apparently falsified by Republican leaning intelligence agencies.

Now you're wanting to vote for the same people who apparently misled congress. Genius.
I don't hold her Iraq vote against her. Why? Here's why.

Study: Bush, aides made 935 false statements in run-up to war
President Bush and his top aides publicly made 935 false statements about the security risk posed by Iraq in the two years following September 11, 2001, according to a study released Tuesday by two nonprofit journalism groups.

Iraq: The War Card
False pretenses

Following 9/11, President Bush and seven top officials of his administration waged a carefully orchestrated campaign of misinformation about Saddam Hussein's Iraq

The hardest jobs in america used to be coal miner or fisherman---or skyscraper window washer---now the hardest job is seeing trump spokesman---the uncomfortable fools squirming in their seats defending trumps bat shit statements on TV. Tough job---and the biggest scumbag is Guiliani----who I apologize publicly for voting for as Mayor---
Right after 9/11, I liked Guiliani. Not so now. He should change his name to Ghouliani.

Have you even read the effing Republican party platform?

Does Hillary want to privatize Social Security? Does she want to turn Medicare into a voucher program? Does she want to roll back the gains that LGBTs have made?

And they (Republicans) crowed about how much they love the veterans all while cutting funding for them.
