Video Hillary wonders where Bernie was in 1993 when she was trying to make health care reform happen

His desire for "just" change, oh give me frikkin' break, all of the criticism of Bernie has been pretty mild and structural, and has nothing to do with his proposals, NO ONE has called him an immoral liar, and NO ONE has bashed him in the least little bit.

I don't know who came up with that "bro" shit, but I do remember that you were the last one using it.

Hypocrite much?

It is difficult to bash a man of his courage and conviction - whose net worth is less than one Hillary Goldman Sachs speech fee

It is difficult to bash a man who wants to raise the minimum wage to $15 so that people and families can live w/o their HOH working two jobs

It is difficult to bash a man who wants a single payer health care system so that ALL citizens get access to doctors when they need it w/o the worry of being bankrupted

It is difficult to bash a man who is willing at all costs to fight the system - whether it be the DNC that has put banana peels in front of his every step - or Wall St. donors who want favors - or pharmaceutical companies that want to keep charging far too much for medicine

So instead, you suggest that his ideas are unattainable - too much to ask - too difficult to achieve

and instead you ridicule supporters who not only respect Bernie but love him because he's one of them - he's one of us

She has never been and never will be

you can't read this forum with any regularity and then write the BS you've written above and take it as truth

So what, you are claiming that people are bashing Bernie by not bashing Bernie. Who exactly is one of "us?"

Right. You just tried to vilify all of us with this pointless narrative, absolving Bernie supporters in here of their asinine partisan bullshit, by attempting to accuse the rest of us of their crimes.

How very republican.

Vilification is a tad dramatic for a Texan dontcha think ?

I'd type slower and larger if it would help :rotflmao:

Condescension won't hide the fact that you tried to go the tired "you do the same!" route, got shut down and are now trying to deflect.

Nope, sorry. NOBODY on here has allowed themselves the classless half-dimensional witch hunt evanrick and to a smaller extent you are conducting on Hillary. And of course you know it, but you had to act like an eight grader when confronted...

In fairness it's not a one way street - there are several Bernie bashers here - so let's not pretend Evanrick is not outnumbered by Bernie hate

Please let's not pretend that isn't the case

That is just nonsense and you know it.

There's no one 'bashing' Bernie or hating on him here. Like any candidate, he merits scrutiny . It has been unfailingly civil and balanced.

Many, including myself, have made it very clear that if Bernie won the nomination, we would be pleased....although we think that as an untested candidate for president that he would be chewed up and spat out by the GOP image crushing machine in about a week.

As I've noted in another thread for Evanrick, coming onto the board and yelling at us isn't going to change one person's mind here. It isn't as though there is a new rolling audience of hundreds of people engaging in discussion here.

We get that he's angry and disappointed that voters are opting for Hillary over Bernie. But there's nothing to be gained by trashing Hillary or cherry picking polls to show how Bernie could win individual states or threatening that Bernie's supporters will all stay home on election day again and again.

If everyone spent their time explaining the substance of their candidate's record and ideas, instead of negative campaigning....the discussion can remain civil and even productive.

Establishment Debbie wasserman Schultz style talk. HRC has no record or ideas just piles of wall street cash and a fraction of the individual contributions and fundraising prowess of Bernie.

HRC's defense to Bernies criticism of her wall street ties and her flip flopping on TPP has been to lie about Bernies votes on the auto bailout and cast him as some kind of gun lover who WASNT there during the first Clinton health care reform effort.

HRC is the pro- war establishment candidate who doesnt support single payer, no cost tuition, a 15$ minimum wage, and is luke warm on worker rights and unions.

I am consistently amazed by the people who want to hear a positive message for Sanders, which is essentially Hillary land code for "stop pointing out her flaws", but never bothered to listen to Sanders speeches- or understand the problem of a corrupt campaign finance system that props up crony capitalist politicians who can be bought and cant be bothered to draw a line in the sand for working Americans.

Democrats like HRC do not deserve liberal support, they are sell out and if Bernie isnt the nominee i would tell him to say fuck you to the democratic party and run as a 3rd party candidate, who knows he might not be the only one with establishment forces on both sides rigging the game for their candidate with super delegates and talk of open conventions.

It really hasn't been on the same level. Whether you want to consider the stuff said about Bernie or not as "hate" is one thing, but it hasn't been happening at the same level. There has been a multitude of threads made about Bernie just for the sake of shitting on him.

Again, I am not a supporter of Hillary and it is fine to criticize her as well as any other candidate. But there is more of it being about her than there is Bernie. Not that the criticism of Bernie isn't there and the insulting that has been made is more towards the supporters, it is still less than the posts/threads made against Hillary.

This is psychotic...

Correction.

You must think we are all really stupid.

And we're not.

I've listened to what Bernie has had to say for probably a lot longer than you. He has wonderful, Canadian style ideas and I personally think that Americans would be much better off with many of these ideas in place.

I wish that the Democratic Party would just take more of these ideas on board and govern from the left for a change.

If Bernie actually decided to run as a third party candidate, then I would have to brand him as destructive and egomaniacal as Trump. I don't think he will because only a fool would think that he would win the presidency and he will not want the left to be split in such an incredibly critical year.

But we are all tired of your one note plain song and treating everyone here like traitors to America and to the causes of the left.

As far as I can see, none of us deserve to be treated this way.

So before you completely blow the last shred of credibility that you have as a poster here...maybe just breathe and think before you post yet another 'Why you should hate Hillary' thread.

Even if we were all of one mind here and committed to Bernie as our preferred candidate, it is patently clear that people across the country are not choosing him over Hillary. And none of us here have anything to do with that fact.

So she is likely to be the Democrat candidate in November....and your efforts and passion would be far better directed at making sure that Trump or Cruz do not get elected than standing on your soapbox flinging dung at all of us here.
