Roosevelt's bad health in his last two terms seriously affect his policies and not in a good way. There can be no excuse for his running for the fourth term when he had to know he was dying. Yet, he kept his vice President out of the loop. His policy of demanding unconditional surrender extended the war, cost many lives and allowed Stalin to conquer Eastern Europe.
His gross negligence--or worse--allowed Japan to destroy our Pacific fleet in the first place. Then he allowed McArthur to pursue his absurd and in the end wasted campaign to retake the Philippines.
Few presidents have been more narcissistic than FDR, but what President or candidate has not been?

I don't know if Secretary Clinton has a seizure disorder, but neither does anyone else because the press won't ask. They are struggling to get her across the finish line.

If she she does have a seizure disorder, then diazepam is an appropriate treatment, but it renders everyone unable to make a rational decision for a day or two. Good to know.

But if she does, seizure disorders are different than paraplegia. The former affects mentation, while the latter does not.

Sorry, but when you are under the influence of diazepam, you are non compus mentis, which is why they have Presidents of the USA sign over authority to the VP during, say, a colonoscopy.

During a seizure, no one can decide whether to fire a nuclear weapon.

There is no question that there are other medications with better pharmacokinetics than diazepam for the treatment of an acute seizure. But that is not what I take this thread to be about.

It is about the hiding (mostly by the MSM) of all things medical with the Democratic candidate for the US Presidency.

Did you go to medical school? Non compus mentis just because a President is prescribed a drug is a pretty bold statement for someone whose medical knowledge just comes from what he finds off of Google.

Vallium(diazepam) is commonly used to treat anxiety, seizures, muscle spasms, and addiction withdrawal symptoms. Like many prescription drugs it can be abused, with a high as a result.

Is Vallium used a a sedative for colonoscopies? Maybe. I have no idea. I do know, however, that doctors don't just let patients walk out the door with drugs that are capable of altering their mental state to the point that you describe without telling them to take no more than the dosage they're giving them, precisely to avoid the drug doing that. If the doctor believes the patient needs that much of the medication the patient is put under the doctor's supervision.

As for shooting nukes, according to these reports the Vallium Clinton is allegedly on is controlling her seizures, so where's the problem again?
