Someone tell me, What the fuck does Hispanic or Latino mean? Oh, I'll tell you, not a god damned thing!

Latino is NOT a race. There are White, Black, Asian, Arab and Indigenous people who live in Central America, South America and the Caribbean all who count as "Latino" or "Hispanic".

If you like mestizo men, for fuck's sake, say mestizo! This bothers me so much, because I happen to be of Afro-Panamanian descent, so yes, I'm "Latino" but when people say they like latino guys, they totally don't have people who look like me in mind.

Latin America is NOT a homogeneous region with one type of people, it is made up of many different races, groups and cultures.

I know ckyb2! I was going to post something along the lines of what you said but I decided not to since this is just a fetish forum and whatever. Just let people get off on their fantasies. When most people speak of hot "Hispanics" I guess they just visualize whatever their ideal hispanic looks like. Some people might visualize Ricky Martin while others might visualize Alex Rodriguez or George Lopez or Antonio Banderas or whatever.

Unfortunately, I guess I'll just have to accept when some one says "Latino" they're looking for some one who's "Ricky Maritnesque".

But it is very annoying for other groups from Latin America who aren't considered "real" hispanics or latinos, just so people don't have to use their brain. A Latino could look like Pocahontas, Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, Denzel Washington, Jet Li, Ghandi, or Osama Bin Laden.

Anyways, go back to your fetishes.

Of course I know what they mean...that's the point. You don't understand because you can not relate; being constantly excluded from something that is your culture is annoying.

I would react the same way if some one says like like "Americans", it doesn't mean anything...so just say what you mean.

Actually, the "race" in Latin America is a hole 'nother can of worms when compared to the U.S.

Centuries of race mixing, combined with good ole' eurocentric conditioning makes it a huge sociological issue in the region, but that's a little off topic.
