Ok---I have been working very hard to lose weight for the past year and a half. I started at a very flabby 250lb and I am now down to a very toned 175----finally!!! I have been losing size pretty steadily but the weight was staying the same until this week and suddenly I am at my original goal. I think I will keep on the same plan and make it down to 165---maybe the abs I can feel will become more visible.
 
Good for you. I know where you are comingd from, I have lost 80 pounds, stuggling to keep that off and loss another 60. I'll do it, but will not get frustrated in how long it may take.
 
It does just take time---was so frustrated when I hit 200lb--- and just hung out at the weight the same for 180--but if you keep pluging away it all falls in place---I really am enjoying the process right now--the gym and diet are pretty easy--hell right now i can eat almost anything and lose weight.
 
Congratulations Alley. I'm trying to lose a few myself, but it's hard...particularly at the office I work at. Everyone brings food and it's all delicious and very tempting. XXX
 
I actually did put on most of my extra weight in a year---I went from around 200 up to 250 with-in six months---I was having some heart problems and was not able to get around--the abs are covered by a nice layer of fat that I will be working on burning off---

I swim about 2 miles 3 times a week and I walk for a hour or so on the days I don't---and I only eat when I am hungry. That is one good thing about not being in a relationship, no dinners out and not eating just because someone else is hungry; just to keep them company.
