I haven't read the book yet but I've heard it's fantastic. The film looks a bit melodramatic though but I'm still going to see it.

I read the book. It's so sad and beautiful. When I finished it I put it down and told myself I'll never read anything better.

The film is coming out here soon so I'm going to see it but I might need to wear a veil to hide my glass case of emotions

I love the book.

It's fundamental reading - a great love story.

I have re-read it once every couple of years. It's just great.

I don't know if I wanna see the film.

I get that. I think I will because the director is pretty good but I also get how horrible it would be if it wasn't absolutely perfect. It really is so beautiful.

Ok I just got back from seeing it. Just go see it. It's beautiful. I cried but I was so happy with it.

I said something similar after reading the book but I'm never going to see a better Australian film after seeing it

It's on at cinema nova in Melbourne. I think if you check out the website they'll list where it's showing.

In the 1960s at xavier college Timothy connigrave, a drama student, meets and falls in love with John caleo, a footballer. The story is about their fifteen year long relationship surviving a time when gay people were illegal and all the way through to the aids crisis.

As well as being touching, it's also very very funny and relatable. It's not drama porn. In fact, just google the movie poster for it. That will be enough to sell you on it
