"Hole" pics: hot or gross?

The admin of another online gay group I participate in, who posts his cock pics and encourages others to do the same, freaked out when someone posted a pic of his asshole. He and a couple of others consider hole pics "gross" and do not want them posted. That seems arbitrary and subjective in a group that encourages x pics, including shots of guys fucking and sucking. Beautiful asshole pics are readily available on JUB. Does anyone think they're "gross" or "inappropriate?"
