I can't imagine putting up all those decorations, much less taking them down and storing them for next year. I don't understand it at all.
 
It looks like Christmas threw up on their lawn.

I don't like the 4,478,689 figurines that people put on their lawns at Christmas. Some simple lights are much classier IMHO.

I've seen programmes on HGTV about houses like this. Some of them go way overboard with decorations (not even Christmasy decorations at that!) and lights and cover the entire house and yard. Of course, these are mostly 'Tim the Toolman' competitions with neighbours.

Trim the eaves and decorate the bushes outside. That's quite enough for me.
