Whoa Hollyoaks!

Kieron's last plea to spare JP got me all snivelling. I love that Craig is back to fetch JP for their SE. I'm ok with JPK and JPC though leaning towards the latter. So I'm ok with what transpired recently. However, I like JP and Spike too, so what I've heard about Spike to join HO as regular ( and rumored has it he's bringing his boyfriend along), made me want to see him back earlier to send JP off to his SE. Afterall, this thread started with Craig/John Paul/Spike not Craig/John Paul/Kieron. It'd be nice to end this thread with them three :)

But John Paul will always be John Paul in my heart. I guess next week will be JP's last :(

I agree^ once JP n' Craig leave I too will take my leave... ( what a crop o' slappers those McQueen women are ! ) And if I were to be honest, I feel overall that the writing on JP/ Kieron / Craig at the end left a bad taste.....

regardless of whether you prefer mcdean or mcpriest, this story was a landmark for us in television. never before have i actually believed the gay characters in a normal television program. (qaf excluded, but that wasn't on mainstream television) and for once it was a positive story, that gives us all hope, that maybe one day we will also be happy and find someone to love.

as for james sutton, i don't think they could have found a nicer or more fantastic actor to play jp. never once did he make it seem as if it was a big deal for him. he even said how some of the fans stories moved him to tears and how proud he was of his character in hollyoaks. he was fantastic, and even if there are more stories like this in future, i dont know if the actors will do it with as much honesty, compassion or sincerity as james did. he deserves most of the credit, imo.

BTW his back after he leaves 4 the conclusion to the Niall storyline where a McQueen dies in an explsion.

Kinda like OB comming back 4 Max's death.

Just saw the finale and in spite of my comment above I confess I'm very moved and very wet-eyed.... And GayBoiJared's tribute is spot-on - Sutton was a dandy romantic gay lead, as was Guy Burnet as Craig and Jake Hastings as Kieron... they'll be sorely missed.( Thank God we've still got Olli & Christian and Max & Iago to fret over... I've all but given up on Luke and Noah and their celibacy.) What a journey it's been ... Gays in the soaps = guilty pleasure, ca va sans dire ! LOL

It's a fitting end, but JP will be missed. How I wish for a John Paul Mc Queen spin-off. He's a very endearing character. Flawed, but lovable. I hope Spike rumor is true, and yet without JP I don't think he's satisfying replacement. They should just have a spin-off bringining all the men in JP's life :)

and yeah, John Paul and Craig forever.

so jp is gone for good now, his last episode aired on friday.


unfortunately, for those following the story from outside the uk, somebody reported nick's (da33431) youtube channel as a copyright violation just before the kidnap episodes aired, so it has been suspended.

At Late Night Hollyoaks:

Niall died. He jumped off the cliff when he couldn't convince Steph to love him.

After the LNH, I no longer know what happened. I don't want the current SL.

I think they have another gayish storyline involving a love triangle with JP's old friend Kris, Nancy, and Ravi. I havent been keeping up with it because I dont like the Kris character at all and I dont find him attractive. Ravi is hot though. Too bad his scenes are with Kris. I was disappointed that Russ turned Ravi down. But I was reading that this week Russ has a big reveal, so maybe there's hope.

And yeah, Myra (JP's mom) found out Niall was her son when he forced her to choose between which of her kids should die in the LN episodes :)

Jenniger Metcalfe is an absolutely stunning actress. She plays Meredes Mcqueen so well and she is such a bitch that she is a great Hollyoaks star.:=D:
