I was at the gym on Saturday with my only token straight friend. Well, he asked me to spot him, hold his arms, etc. Well, he was all sweaty and I was touching him all over, yet he wasn't weirded out at all. In other circumstances, he would have been freaked. So I look around and I realize other guys are touching each others sweaty, scadily-clad too and there is no awkwardness at all.

I believe gyms were constructed not for the purpose of maintaining a healthy body. They are just shrines to the male body, where straight guys can admire and touch each other bodies' without the assumption of it being "homosexual."

My, oh, my. There are many, many places where straight guys are not afraid of touching or looking. Pay closer attention to sports events and you'll notice all kinds of ass-slapping, hugging, and crotch grabbing going on.

You know what? You are so right. They do do that. In lockerrooms, at parties, sporting events. There is a whole subculture of heterosexual men engaging in homoerotic behavior. Hmm, this would make an interesting sociological article.

Yeah, in high school, I had friends who would ass slap all the time. And now in college, many do that dick-slap game to their pal. But then they are like, "No homo." Oh, yeah, big homo.

Dick slap? Do tell more. Better yet do you have any pics?

There are alot of guys who grab a guys ass as part of sport..| and there are some who do it because they like touching a man's ass..| or love being touched by another man, like me.*|**|*

I started working out, because you could check out other men's bodies, or touch or be touched, without someone puting you down for it, even if you like cock. Ever since I was young hard-ons, always turned me on.

Lol, you know what I mean. Not like slapping each other with their dicks, but they will tap each other in the junk for laughs. Lol. Or maybe that's just the idiots I know.

I think it has something to do with them feeling comfortable in their masculinity because of the extreme masculine nature of the environment they're in. If the environment was even a bit feminized, they wouldn't feel comfortable enough to do that.

"No homo" is the new "like". It seriously gets spit out every second in conversations -.-

But anywho, maybe I should check out the guys with the free weights next time. I know straight guys slap each others asses, though.

I feel like you are so right. I hear "no homo" from straight men constantly. I just want to say, "If you were more conformable with your sexuality, you wouldn't feel the need to assure you aren't gay. The fact that you aren't secure would indicate that you DO have homosexual tendencies." Lol. Of course that would probably go over anyone's head to would actually use "no homo." Lol.

Remember back in the day (80's) when lockerroom guys didn't mind showing dick but always hid their ass. Today time is quite the oppsite where they will keep that towel in front but let their ass feel the breezes.

I miss the 80's !!!

When I was playing baseball, Iwould always jump at the chance to grab some guys junk when he got a hit, I guess I grabbed it too much I could feel his cock, he had no cup, he got pissed and started a fight with me me a fag i shoved him to the ground and said who's the fag now pussy, and all the guys loved me for it. I learned then that guys call you a fag in sports if you fight back, weather your a fag or not they admire you for not taking any shit.

Would they admire you if they knew you grabbed the guy's cock? A technical and legal "sexual assault"???

holy fucking over thinking about it.

They are there to improve their bodies not to feel other dudes up.

most straight guys i see at the gym are there to socialize about as much as lift weights..they are in there for 2 plus hrs each night!!

I don't understand why you were touching him all over? When you spot someone, you are there to help if something goes wrong, the weight is too much, arms give out, etc. "Maybe" touch there hands/arms to help lift the weight up, etc, but "all over"? Just askin.
