Hello everyone
I am a postgraduate student in the United Kingdom, studying for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am exploring the impact of homophobia on psychological well-being. Given the recent publicity around gay teen suicides, and campaigns such as NOH8 and It's get better, the link between homosexuality and psychological well-being has been highlighted as an important issue.
The experience of homophobia obviously has the potential to impact upon someone's well-being in several ways, and of course not everyone reacts to homophobia in the same way. I am particularly interested in the different factors that impact upon an individual's ability to cope following an experience of victimisation or discrimination based on sexual orientation.
I am trying to recruit as many people, from all different backgrounds, to complete a short online survey asking about their experience of homophobia and general attitudes towards homosexuality. This research has full ethical approval from the University ethics committee. I was hoping that posting a link to the survey here would enable the JUB community to share their experiences on the survey. More information about the survey is available if you follow the link.
The link to the survey is:

Obviously this is a very emotive topic for many people. I would be interested to hear any other thoughts or comments that people have on the topic.
Thanks
