According to what I read, honey bees have been developing an immune condition which has made them more susceptible to disease. Maybe farmers will have to bump up their use of bumble bees. Bumble bees go out in cooler weather when honey bees do not, and moreover, they have a better rate per acre of pollination. However, commerical production of honey would still require honey bees.
