I have foreskin. I like it when my foreskin goes up and down, over the head of my penis. It doesn't nessarily have to glide all the way up and down, but as long as there is some gliding action. Ask him to teach you how to do it.

There are a lot of nerve endings in the foreskin, so be gentle with it, it's a sensitive area. It took my cut BF a while to get the hang of handling my uncut penis. Also, pulling it down is probably fine, pulling it *far* down, straining the frenulum (the piece of skin that connects the penis head to the foreskin is invariably very painful -- at least for me it is)
