Hostel or Hookup

I got some stupid ass issues. One of them being paranoia. I'll be going to a big city and I was planning to stay at a gay hostel, but now I've found out they want my fucking name and address. I mean my family knows I'm gay, but I don't want my fucking government to know. Why does this hostel want to know my name and address anyway? Like they could prove if I broke some of their cheap ass shit. So I'm thinking why not save some money and hook up with guy, crash at his. Trouble is I never did that before. I've been in guy's appartments, but I never stayed for the night. I might not even be in the mood for a fuck after traveling. I need some advice.

In most things in life: renting an apartment, buying a house, getting a job, getting a driver's license, travelling by air or train.... You have to give your name and address. If you want to do grown up activities you'll have to conform to the rules, or sleep on a park bench or under a bridge.

... and it's very unlikely that the hostel is going to turn you into the government, unless you plan on trashing their room.

anyway, i dont know what you should do about your hostel paranoia, but i would not rely on a complete stranger for lodging. thats just stupid.

As far as I am aware, straight guys are also allowed to stay in a gay hostel. So staying in a gay hostel does not mean that you are gay. I agree with all others that any hostel (etc.) will always want to know such kind of details. So I would not bother about this. Same rule is also the case for hotels (all over the world).

As far as I am aware, straight guys are also allowed to stay in a gay hostel. So staying in a gay hostel does not mean that you are gay. I agree with all others that any hostel (etc.) will always want to know such kind of details. So I would not bother about this. Same rule is also the case for hotels (all over the world).

Guess I'll resort to my emergency plan and stay at a non-gay hostel than.

hookup all you want... but tbh, 99.9% of times, at the end of a hookup, whoever is "hosting" wants the other guy to get out, not lay about and crash for a weekend.

Why not come out, be out, and seek relationships (hook ups or lasting) that way? Your already putting yourself out there..?? You want more but want it to be so discreet. It doesn't work that way.
