This week's Thursday Thirteen is list of my most recent book purchases – a mix of erotica, other fiction, and some non-fiction. All of the fiction is gay-related. I couldn't take a picture because I misplaced two of them and two are waiting for me at the post office. I also bought a book about writing fiction and a couple about BDSM relationships.

The dearth of posters here appears to confirm my thoughts of the JustUsBoys
community right now.
Is it possible we are going through another of those microwavian epochs where
the members of this community are careening pell mell through their 'dayz and
knights ? They don't or can't pause a moment to...smell the roses...savour the
offerings and acknowledge the time and effort that was invested to bring them a
modicum of pleasure amidst the helter skelter of real life?
I was taken aback at AoM's 'farewell serenade'. Another flower in JustUsBoys's
bouquet, withered and to soon gone.
You sweet Paddles are all but pulling the great fade yourself.

Bottom Line...
The need to interface with the tumultuous and cruel realities of a desultory black and white
world is sad enough but real enough too. That is called survival. Bringing a part of yourself to
share/share back is a respite program we can gift others and should gift ourselves.

One thing keeping me away is writing a book review. Someone had the idea I wouldn't mind reading porn about masters and slaves. It's my first review and I want to do a good job. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Oh, hey - that can be my list for this week!

The removal of the AOM site trashed my plan to do a "best of" post. I might have enough saved to put it together later. Instead, for this week - more books! I don't have them yet - still waiting at the post office, except for the most recent orders. The guy at the post office doesn't have to ask me for my box number when I show up. Fortunately, all of the packages have arrived intact and he has no clue what they contain.
