I found it difficult to pick a favorite from Lefty's batch of lovelies. I'm glad you all are posting pics, because I don't have a set for you. For my Thursday Thirteen, I have more lists from other authors.

Although these are HETEROSEXUAL, you might find something new and interesting. I don't know this author, but the Hunk du Jour widget and this image on her blog page suggested some like-mindedness.

Unrelated to this, I want to take a moment to observe the date we lost a very special person. Brenda Howard, LGBT activist, was a key player in the early gay rights movement and largely responsible for there being LGBT Pride events. According to some sources, her suggestion to mark the one-month and then one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion started the annual celebrations. (Brenda was part of a small group of people who created the first events.) Originally held on or around June 28, Pride Day became Pride Week and eventually Pride Month.

Too Hot?

After five days without power, we didn't feel much like celebrating Independence Day. We did, however, celebrate the return of air conditioning last night.

Being far too hot this past week inspired my selection of pictures for today's Thursday Thirteen. From one of my favorite threads, some especially refreshing images. I took most of the pics from Foxy's posts, but there are a few from Chaz and Dunhill, and one from me.

And a copy of my new book cover. I did the basic design and the publisher's artist put it all together. I love the way it turned out. Most of what they publish is romance, but my story is better classified as erotica. Two other publishers rejected it specifically for that reason.
