Thank you ET for the extra dogs - - the thread can always use some dogs! So nothing more than they looked like the real thing.

It is amazing how our boys have found / adopted dogs over in Afghan. What great support the dogs provide - unconditional love, companionship, protection. I had not realized they had trained them for gunnery control. Awesome!

Red, I am amazed that you can find 13 pictures of green socks, just as you did red socks. Do you just google? Anyway, not only were the green socks special, but numerous wearers were not only color coordinated, but well shaped too! Speaking of color coordination - - the green on our kilt wearer really didn't seem to match the plaid. I do understand LiBit's appreciation of him, however.

Rand, I'm not entirely sure how I began - however, I usually do start off by Googling - one thing tends to lead to another though and I was fortunate enough to find tumblrs dedicated to sock wearers.

I did note that the word of the year was selfie - - - just so you know ET - - - I suppose the "smart phone" has allowed not only the taking of the picture, but the mass distribution of said picture by twit, email, JUB forum or whatever. It seems that the phone might make other picture taking devices absolute ...........

With the creativity in themes, plus Rand & ET creating beauty in words, we have all manner of delights here. So many great posts, and a welcome treat when I have so much to do these days.

I took a few minutes to get a pic of some new books (most of which I haven't even opened). A couple are from previous posts, but at least 13 are new. All are gay, mostly erotica or mysteries. A few over from the right side, the title in red print that's difficult to read is the one described below. My former girlfriend was very active in the early gay liberation movement (including the G.A.A.), so I was especially interested in that one.
