What camera did you end up getting?

Pentax K-50, a DSLR. I wanted something smaller, like the mirrorless ones or a high-end compact, but I wasn't finding the features I wanted. This one is weather-resistant (important) and has the option to use AA batteries (just nice to have). The image stabilization is in the body instead of in each lens, which seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I'm wondering. After I described some of its odd behavior, the rep at Ricoh said it must be defective and they're sending a replacement. I don't have to wait until they get mine, so it won't take long.

Pentax is a "Good Thing", and with the Body image stabilization, something probably good for my "old" shaking hands!

Definitely something I should look into!

Rand, great themes and sets And poetry too

I had hoped to do a set this week based around Valentine's Day but haven't been feeling too good. However, when I started to feel better I did try to find some pictures but couldn't really see anything that I liked (must be losing my touch). Better luck next year maybe.

Trust me, my neighborhood is not a source of photogenic men, even if I did go out more than once or twice a week.
