i know this is shallow but its just an observation. ive seen this quite often but recently i have encountered it even more. couples where the guy is very hot and the girl is busted. in all cases the girl isnt totally gross but the guy is way hotter. and in most cases the girl was very mean and bitchy, so she didnt even have a good personality. i know its so mean. i was wondering if anyone else felt the same way?
 
Maybe you'll need more than a couple minutes to see the entire dynamic of the relationship. God knows there are periods of time when, if people saw certain moments of my relationship, would wonder what the hell he was doing with me. Or what the hell I was doing with him.

Just because the girl seemed bitchy when you saw them means nothing; my gf and I have arguments regularly and we both come off that way for a good few minutes.
 
I see it every day. But remember, girls aren't looking for good looks in a guy. So maybe that hot looking guy is actually a total loser, and the best he can do is the obese chick.

The way I see it (on a more general note, does not apply to all):

Horny straight guy desperate to bone. Afraid of being rejected by more prettier girls, so goes after less attractive girls instead. Less attractive girl's worried that she would never find a hot guy to be with takes up the guy's offer even if it's only a one nighter (turns out to be many more...). They both fuck without protection and end up producing sprogs, which is the only thing keeping them together. Straight guy has regrets, and the girl gets the hot hubby, wedding and offspring.

Maybe it's a low self-esteem thing?
