I don't mind a bit of age on a man especially if he takes care of himself, although I do prefer them around my own age (25~29) myself.

...Which is why I retouched him into someone a tad younger, mmm this guy was a hottie when he was young.

I wasn't always "behaving myself" when I was in my 20's, and I certainly do not intend to start "behaving" now! If nothing else, I've learned, and appreciate more, how NOT to "behave myself" even better!

Why, in Heaven's name, would I want to be "graceful/appropriate/demur/correct", and "act my age", when I'm finally getting the hang of how to REALLY Enjoy LIFE?

Of course, there are some things I can no longer do that I could when I was younger. And, I sincerely wish I could pass along what I know NOW that the young me didn't know THEN! But, there seems to be a "natural barrier" to my being able to effectively get those perspectives into Young brains!

Perhaps that's for your own "good", and "protection"?

SO ... Until you younger guys are further down your own roads of discovery ... and I do Sincerely MEAN this ... no matter what ...

Ageing gracefully meant acting your age. Not taking photos in front of mirrors in your underwear like a teenager or 20 something. Not starving yourself to wear the clothes you wore in college is another good "don't."

Acting your age is another way of telling people off. You may demand a child act his age, but it is impertinent, to say the very least, to tell someone who has grown into adult-hood to act his age! Aging gracefully is something else - it is oxymoronic and contradictory. As everyone knows when he reaches his forties (I am now 43), grace has nothing to do with aging. While one can be elegant and graceful, it is a separate question to that of age and aging.

As for people taking pictures of themselves starkers and posting them on the net: I personally find it odd for any person of any age to do this, but I do understand it. Desire to connect on some intimate level - no matter how obscure the link - is intense in many people and clearly millions do put themselves out there. So be it - who is anyone to judge??? At what age do we cease to have the right to use every means at our disposal to try to reach out and make that connection? And who the hell is so close to being a god that he gets to tell the rest of us when to go gentle into the night?

Lastly, I still cycle, occasionally go to gym, eat properly and at 43 and 183cm I still fit a 31inch waist band well. I can never tell whether older people bitch about a refusal to collapse in a heap because they are envious of those with staying power enjoying their lives in their own way, or if those who are younger are stupid and ignorant of the progression of life, not fathoming the procession we all participate in towards our demise. Why shouldn't we all enjoy fitness, the ability to wear small sizes, our sexuality, our sports, and lovers? Why do some people get so indignant at the idea of 'others' living their own lives? Goodness, one of my dearest friends is in his mid 70's, still gets offers left, right and centre from guys of all ages, travels extensively each year for several months (including the Hymalias and Africa and the Middle East on a regular basis) and when you meet him at dinner or the symphony or ballet, you would only see elegance. He doesn't age "gracefully" in the least... thank goodness!

I was working the Gay Pride Tent this past weekend with Jake Cruise and a bunch of Cocksure Men models. Rick McCoy is 20 and looked amazing... guys were all over him and he was sweet and talked to them all.

But there were a lot of guys who just wanted to get to Jake and have their pictures taken with him, too.

The guy above I think looks great and I'd happily let a handsome guy like him take me out and have his way with me.

Not my type at all but he obviously is dedicated to working out and diet. I think there are other older guys that can look good if they stay in shape. I just think this guy should probably gain weight because the low body fat makes his face look so much older than it has to. I had a personal trainer who was 47 and of course was very fit. However he wasn't as cut. Still thin but not like this. I wouldn't have even thought of his age until he told me. He had signs of aging like some crows feet and a little grey hairs but he was still hot. The fact that he didn't seem to try too hard but he obviously still took care of himself made him actually seem younger to me. I think it's kinda creepy to see someone with Taylor Lautner's body and Keith Richards's face.

I guess my point is trying too hard makes you just look older. If that's what you're into, that's fine but I think if the goal is to look younger then relax a little.

this guy in the pic is fufilling his self image as best as he can............good for him............we all make the decision of how we present ourselves....
......i'm 52, and i still /seemingly/ am thought to be in my 30's..../ although ,today, i look like shit/......it is largely genetics...and i'm tall and have some weight on me.......

........fat, or any variation, may disgust many, but it does soften the blows of ageing...as french women say, after a certain age you have to choose beauty, thinness in your face, or roundness in your ass....
....but this guy works out alot, and i bet, if any of you kids took the time, he might very well satisfy you.......alot..............it does take some finess, practice and caring, to make a man/ boy fully satisfied...

We have to remember too, that none of us knows what other people have to live through, and if some of us are lucky enough to have relatively happy and stress-free lives, others have to go through major shocks and losses and on-going difficulties, all of which change our appearances. To criticize another person, whom we do not know, for their appearance is really an ignorant and mean spirited thing to do.

I had one friend many years ago who looked fine until he lost his mother and overnight he aged about ten years in his face. You never know what's in your own future, so try to be kind to others in case one night you wake up shocked at things you've said.

Disgraceful. A gentleman of 50 should have receding hair - without a comb-over - a curvy stomach to indicate delight in the good things of life, and a face that looks well lived in.

And he should lust after people his own age plus or minus 10 or so years. (I have enjoyed the delights of a 63 year old.)
