The painting---which I have seen--is in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starry_Night.

One of my faves. And even though I'm not a big Don MacLean fan...I do actually own the album this song is on. Good tribute to an amazing artist.

Farmerrex. Thinking about the tragic fires in Australia.

Don't know where in Australia you live, but hope you, and all other Jubbers and their loved ones, and all others in your beautiful country are OK.
 
And thank you for your kind words to those of us down here in Oz, Greaves.

The Central Victoria fires were about 30km from my place. Close, but not so close that we had to flee our house, thank goodness. We're surrounded by forest here, so it was a very worrying day.

Thanks for your thoughts, Greaves. I live in Melbourne, so the fires are not far away, Healesville is under threat tonight that is about an hour away. Marysville that was removed from the face of the earth is about 1/2 hour on from Healesville. The road (Maroondah Hwy) is closed to all traffic.
