Hotel/Motel ALL MALE "BONDING"

Well ... I have three str-8 males friends, who have g/f or wives ... YET the four of us find time each year to go on a "Vacation" .... we get a double room and sleep two to a bed ... Nudity prevails as does porn and liquor ... We all sleep nude ... and .. a couple of times two of us will even jump in the shower together ....
We are currnetly planning this years "Vacation" to Vegas ... It will be something else !!
 
Yeah, they're always pointing out stupid "new" trends, or making a big deal out of things that aren't a big deal. Reminds me of that stupid New York Times article that came out a little over a year ago about "man dates." Way to make regular joes feel self-conscious (unless you don't care, like me). The media are always making a hullabaloo about nothing.

I don't think its a slow news day or stupid. I think its a measurable shift in men asserting their right to be men together in an open manner. Its a social change that reflects men are tired of making excuses or begging wives if they can do something.

its the counterpart to what so many women were allowing themselves throughout the 90s, these spa trips with their sisters or best girlfriends.

Men have caught onto that Oprah show trend (I mean if ANYONE started these sorts of mini same-sex trips, it was her...and the Boy Scouts, of course).

So i think its something to watch - men in groups sharing hotel rooms, heading to get massages after golf or eating big steaks and watching in-room porn together.

Men have always had their all male clubs. But those were taken away from them. And a strip club isn't always what gets some men off. So they've taken CONTROL and with the credit card have turned any hotel suite into a temp. men's sweat room or smoking club.

I think in fact that GAY men could take a cue from it. Instead of thinking that bitching unites or PnP is the way to bond, a good healthy, all male hiking trip might be in order.

There can then maybe a group of gay men in one cabin and a group of straight men in the other cabin...and they can all meet in the communal showers before chow time.

NO. There is no "monumental social shift" here. If anything, what is new is the inability for the media to report anything without a sex angle to it. Guys have and always will go camping together for example.
There is nothing novel about that.


Oh, and the "mandate" thing...I forgot bout that completely! Hahah... Thanks.
I was shocked when I read it, since I'd done that a million times in college.

I do the exact same thing with one exception: I am the only one who ever gets nekkid. I try to encourage more nudity (i.e., begging and pleading), but that just doesn't seem to be on the agenda. They're not uptight or anything--far from it, but they seem intent on keeping their wares hidden. Any hints for getting a bit more dick out in the open?
 
Well I think that a distinct advantage that Gay Guys have about vacationing together, is that we also stand a chance of meeting other "like minded" guys!

As opposed to fucking our brains out on some "gay cruise." ;)

We could go on a Art and Archaeology Tour in Italy.

We can explore the Ancient Wonders of Peru.

Not to mention, a weekend of camping and rock climbing.

I'd say that's a little more adventurous than sitting in a hotel lounge wondering what kind of underwear the guy next to you is wearing...if any. (!)
 
PJlikesporn ask about getting more of his group to get naked ... Well ..how about a game of strip poker ? It worked for me on our first trip around a campfire ..
The second trip I was getting ready for a shower and stripped totally down ... when one of the other guys went to take his shower; I mentioned that "IT" must be SO SMALL since he was hiding it from the rest of us ... that was it . He dropped his stuff on the bed and stripped down then walked around the room shaking it at eveyone !! From that moment on ; Each of us would totally strip before going into the shower .. then come out and stay naked until the next morning .....
It really gets to be fun when the wine coolers and Porn are put to use .. be sure everyone has a towel and beging to do your ting ... Every other guy there will follow suit .... at least the other three with me did ...
