Your special email from last night has helped me a lot. I’m glad to be of help for you. Latest heat update is about 95F tomorrow, and Tuesday anything up to about 110F unfortunately. But Wednesday will be a huge drop back about 72F.. Unfortunately, as you can see, there is no let up, and Tuesday may well be worse than first forecast. Now, my iPad has an operating range up to 95F, so if, in my flat it gets to that temperature, I’ll have to have my iPad turned off until Wednesday. So I may be offline for Tuesday until Wednesday. The bike ride was an early morning one, and I just kept it local.
A new record for heat was set today of 40.3C at RAF Coninsgby, Lincolnshire. That’s about 104F. I hope it never gets this hot again, but I suppose now it’s done it, it will do it again and again! . Well, relief is here tomorrow with the temperatures dropping back to about 86F - that’s more than hot enough. Now, my fridge is a nice big one, not a table top one! 
I am very tired, but okay after drinking gallons of water. I’m using my iPad, and it’s not yet overheated. I certainly hope it won’t since I only bought it in January.. I’m really sorry your AC has broken down. I hope it quickly gets repaired. Just keep drinking lot’s of water - no alcohol. Also use a fan if you have one, they do help. My fingers are crossed for you. And no wanking either, it makes you too hot and drains fluids away right when you need them. You are right, it’s too hot to hug. If we did we’d get glued together and end up in hospital having to be unstuck!!
