Good evening, everyone. Firstly, we in England, are living in dire times. The government are in all sorts of trouble. The Chancellor of the Exchequer has been sacked, and now the Paymaster General has been sacked too. Regarding our Prime Minister, Liz Truss, well she may be gone veey soon, if the reports of huge numbers of letters of no confidence in her, to G. Brady, the chairman of the 1922 committee, are to be believed. Time will quickly tell one way or the other. I personally feel we need to have a general election and clear the air completely. A new direction is needed.

I hope you get your gas overcharge resolved. That always infuriates me when I get overcharged for something. And I hope you get your laptop issues resolved. Likewise, I find it annoying when my computer won't let me do what I want to do on it.

Hi, Araucaria. thank you for your kind support. I’ve got what I thought was myself being overcharged, but it turns out that the money in question has been credited to my electric account. I’m happy with that for it is now in a good amount of credit.
I’m still having to work on that vlc player issue on my laptop. Either that or try installing a replacement player.

I hope you got in a good bike ride, and a good edging session today. Sometimes you have to forget the political turmoil and world situation, and focus on yourself for your own mental health. I'm hoping that the voters will throw out the bastards that are causing all the problems here in the States in next month's election, but I just don't know if that will happen. Things will only get much worse if we don't make a change.

I hope everything is all right with you, and you get some bike riding and some edging in today.

I just hope everything works out politically. Sometimes politicians and government make me so mad I have to make myself stop thinking about them for awhile.

Well, our heat finally broke yesterday, but only too well. It got cloudy, and the temperature dropped into the 60s and stayed there all day. On top of that, it rained during the afternoon. Kind of a cool, dreary day.

Good afternoon, Christian. I don’t know where to start. It’s all gone badly wrong today. Well, the prime minister, Liz Truss has resigned as prime minister. There is to be a leadership contest of one week, with the results announced next Friday, the 28th October. Boris Johnson has said he is going to stand as the new leader and prime minister. I feel sick, very sick. There must be a general election. The Labour party must get into power. Let’s have a new start, a reset. We need a change of direction. We will get none of that from the Tories, especially if Johnson is prime minister yet again.
Imagine Trump back as President. It’s a horrible thought, the stuff of nightmares.
Well, luv, I hope you are okay. I hope your work will be going smoothly for you today. I’ll see you later on.

Good afternoon, Araucaria. I think I’ve got it out of my system for today. I feel unwell though, with a migraine coming on, so I won’t be edging, although I hope to later on tomorrow.
Sadly, we in England are in the worst possible situation since when I’ve no idea. Anyway, I must go and have a short nap.

Well, Christian. you are so right. A general election is urgently needed to get the Tories out and Labour in. We do not want Johnson back. I sincerely hope Trump will never get back into power as President.
