Hotrich Appreciation Thread

Hello Rob , I hope you have a pleasant day on Tuesday

Fortunately , your tooth issue wasn't painful

Take care buddy

Good evening, everyone. (*8*)

The tooth is okay so far, so I’m saying no more about it - I’m too wary of tempting fate!

I am going to Scarborough tomorrow, with a friend. It should be a most interesting day.

I hope you are all safe and well, and will have a great time tomorrow and Friday.

Good Saturday afternoon, Rob! (*8*)

Glad to hear you got to Scarborough with your friend. I find that I can't hear the name of that town without thinking of the Simon & Garfunkel song.

Talking about your friend with the huge rat, right now I have an opossum that has taken up residence in my utility room.

Good evening, Rob. I hope you had a pleasant day (*8*)
Rats are scary. I remember my grandpa telling that he saw "rats as big as rabbits"

Good evening, Christian, Darren, RM, Araucaria, Paul.(*8*)(*8*)(*8*)(*8*)(*8*):kiss::kiss:::kiss::kiss:

It was a good day outon Thursday, and Iknow that song you are thinking of, Araucaria. I’ve had a good weekend, and got some hot edging sessions in.*|*
Today I also had a bike ride in very pleasant sunny weather.

I hope you are all safe and well, and have been having a lovely weekend. Tomorrow a short week starts before Easter next weekend.

Now here’s a photo’ of Pocklington station from above 1964. It shows a class B1 steam engine, 61199, departing on a train to Market Weighton and Hill - probably the 5.15 pm from York.

(*8*) Good evening, Rob

We are warming up. It was 84 yesterday and will hit 100F the Sunday after Easter.

It will be a busy week with pew duty Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Good evening, Christian, Araucaria and Gary. (*8*)(*8*)(*8*):kiss::kiss:

We have got to Hump Day and tomorrow is Maundy Thursday, when our King will be handing out the Maundy money.

I’m okay, and have had a very quiet day today - too quiet, there will be a storm brewing!

Well, I hope you are safe and well, and I’m really sorry, Christian, that you on those horrible shifts. I hope you’ll quickly be on more normal shifts. (*8*)

I have seen those contraptions, Gary, for the former LNER had some in use. I have tried to find a photo of one, but for the moment I cannot find it. When I do I’ll post a copy of it on here.

Tomorrow, I’m hoping to go to York.
So, everyone, take care, and I’ll wish you all a great Easter weekend.
