Well, I got out on the bike today to Cottingham, which is to the south of where I live. There was plenty of traffic on the roads with it being such excellent weather. I’m relaxing this evening before going to bed.

I hope you both are having a great day, and will sleep well tonight.

An incredibly busy week lies ahead for me, but I’m not really complaining. I’d much rather be busy with doing constructive things than lounging around being bored and miserable. ;)

So, I’ll wish you both a great new week ahead.

Enjoy the good weather while it lasts.

I encountered very little traffic on my trip. The part on Interstate Highway I-10 I averaged 83.5 mph. I have made this trip many times, but this is the first time under 2 hours. (1:50)(one way)

Have fun with the busy week. Yes, that is better than laying around.

I’m okay, and after a hectic week, it’s now time for another Bank Holiday weekend! Yes, the third such holiday weekend this month - the next one is at the end of August. I see you have a holiday weekend in the States too. So I hope you’ll enjoy the extra day to relax and enjoy yourselves.

I’m hoping to finally get to Market Weighton, on the bike, on Sunday. However, the weather forecast is now suggesting there may be some showers, so I’ll have to wait and see on getting up on Sunday morning.

Well, I’m relaxing this evening. I saw a huge model of Carlisle station today. It’s 95’x20’!!! It’s housed in a purpose built building at great cost. It’s taken since 2013 to get to the stage it’s at today. Here’s a photo, which I have already posted in RM’s thread. I think the man kneeling on part of the layout says it all. It just so huge, very huge! It certainly takes some looking after…

I’m okay, and relaxing this evening, enjoying the late evening sun. I plan to have a bike ride on Sunday.

Finally I had better let you all know that next Thursday, the 8th, I’m having new windows installed, so I have to get things ready for that next Wednesday the 7th. I may be missing for much of those two days. Wish me luck…

Wow, that model train setup is going to be really something! I know there's a local model train club that has a room in the exhibition halls at our fairgrounds, but that room is probably only about 10 feet X 20 feet.

I'm glad you're getting some bike riding in. I got some riding in Thursday at a local park with some good weather, though they were predicting storms. It just felt like a much better thing to do than sit around the house all day waiting for the bad weather to come.
