A bud on Atkol posted this and I instantly recognized it from years ago -- this gave me a thousand hardons back in the day.
It's from an issue of New York Magazine dated 13 October 1980. I'm sure the photo is by Bruce Weber.
We're determined to identify this hot, hot fucker, and would SO much appreciate your help. Any ideas? Or suggestions of other sites where we can ask?

OMG I remember this photo a long time ago. I read up on this a year or two ago. I believe he was a college diver who tried out for the 1980 Olympic team. I don't know whether or not he made it but it wouldn't have mattered since the U.S. and 60 other nations boycotted the Moscow games that year.
 
Hi name was (is) Robert Ianucci. He made me buy my first pair of Calvin Klein Jeans!! It was a Bruce Weber photo - early 80s. He looked good in his Calvins! - still does. Wonder what he is doing now?
 
The correct spelling for Robert's last name is Iannucci - two n's. He was in at least three GQ mags: Feb. 80 lots of photos - some in speedos!, summer 1980 and June 1981. I still have the mags; I had to go and look again!
