Cool Buffxqui - so I'd ask you to do the same thing - if you don't care for my posts do what the
FAQ for JUB say: click on my name and add me to your Ignore list:
"As adults, we would prefer that you work out all personal conflicts away from the public spaces (forum, comments, etc.) of the site. Placing someone on your ignore list should always be the first response when someone annoys you. Ignoring them will prevent any of their private messages from reaching you, and will block their posts from appearing as you view the forums. Its always a good idea to ignore someone sooner rather than later to prevent disputes from spiraling out of control."
The Code of Conduct states:
6. Please do not engage in the spamming of
commercial websites. (This does not apply to members posting links to their favorite sites, etc.)
I'm not posting any links to any commercial sites. And I share things from many sites like JoeMyGod and Towleroad.
I have no beef with anyone here and what they post. I don't complain about them. I'd ask that you follow the suggested guidelines provided by JUB.
And one other thing I've noticed - considering Miaedu is accusing me of "promoting" or "spamming" - I'd ask you to take a look at the number of some of
his posts:
Gorillaz thread - 17 out of 27 posts by Miaedu
James Blake - 25 out of 34 posts by Miaedu
iamamiwhoami thread - 20 out of 31 posts by Miaedu
Bon Iver thread - 26 out of 31 posts by Miaedu
Now - I don't have a problem with any of these posts. I skip right past them if I'm not interested. I don't have a problem with anyone, until I'm accused of something wrong which looking at the Code of Conduct above I'm clearly not. If I'm being accused of "promoting" someone or something, take a look at those. Looks like a music promoter to me. And I don't care. Post away! But don't accuse me of doing something wrong when I'm not.
That's just four examples. What do you consider "spamming"? 26 posts on the same subject? Or one post about something?
I don't obsess on certain threads;
I don't harass others about what they post. And I'm not spamming from commercial sites. I'm linking to sites I like - which I'm allowed to do. I'm following the guidelines.
So I politely ask that everyone go about their business and if you don't like what someone posts that much, click on their profile name and hit the ignore button
as JUB moderators ask.
