I find it rather enjoyable that for once the pathetic cynical jerk is also the capable professional leading the h.e.r.o team of the show, and not some secondary character who must sacrifice himself helping the hero to prove he was a good guy after all.

I love it!

The show is great, a Hugh Laurie deserves alot more recognition than he's getting for the show.

Not only it is interesting, full of hilarious House one-liners, and a chance to stare at Jesse Spencer for an hour...It's just an all round great show...Now, let's hope Fox doesn't fuck it up the way they did a lot of great shows in the past (cough, Arrested Development, cough).

It´s on its second season, which means it´s reaching its prime and, according to the second amendment to law of American TV-shows ( ), after that it´s all the way down.

Love the show. I was hooked from the first episode. I think the best one is where he has to fill in and lecture to med students.

Bones is great too. David Boreanaz!!! Yum!

Remember Hugh Laurie when he played second-fiddle to Rowen Atkinson in the British comedy series Blackadder? Now that was some funny stuff!!

As for House, M.D., I'm afraid that if I saw any of that lot coming into my hospital room, I run screaming for my life. With the possible exception of the ancillary plot themes, virtually every patient is mis-diagnosed to the brink of death. Every diagnosis produces another, more serious, condition until finally (through some mysterious stroke of luck) they get it right and the poor patient is finally allowed to leave that torture academy they call a hospital. I would like to believe that, in the real world, the AMA would have yanked the medical license of Dr. House and his entire motley crew a long time ago.

Yes, they are as stupid as any Bruckheimer CSI team: all for the sake of thrilling the audience

I too am a fan!

Tonight's episode was quite good.

Man, the writers come up with some good material and HE can be such an ass sometime to prove his point, can't he?

I loved the vote of him vs God!!! lol

Give it to Fox Network to come up with "different" series of shows for you to watch.... (*8*)(*8*):kiss:

I've looked all through my comprehensive road atlas and cannot find a town named "House" anywhere in Maryland. :(
I bet that so-called atlas is CIA factbook-based... [-X

Can this be moved to the Movies/Entertainment thread?

Anyways, House was awesome tonight. The writers give him so many great lines to deliver and he does it so natural.

Anyways couple questions actually just one.

Today he went back to using the cane but in the prior episodes he was walking just fine. Why did he have to use the cane in the first place?

How was he walking perfectly fine without the cane a couple episodes ago?

and Why is he back on the cane?

Thx?

I hate the show, but I can't stop watching it every week. It's addicting.
