Leandro, are you a Canadian of Italian descent?

I wish I was a poet instead of a writer.

I hated poetry in high school, disliked it in college and just don't appreciate it now. Could never get into it. If it goes beyond roses are red, violets are blue, zzzzzzzzzzzz. Sorry. Give me a good book history, fantasy, fiction or a medical text and I am a happy camper.

Love Poetry !! Actually have been published a couple of times as well as my newspaper articles have been on several Editorial Pages across the nation .....

A most interesting posting. The Theatre is my poetry. I love the theatre and always have.

Something so magical about a theatre performance and sad at the same time - each performance is totally different from the previous one - and once given it dies, except in one's memory. Poetry of course can live on.

A truly unique performance of Cinderella was brought from England to here about 5-6 years ago. Truly one of the most incredible evenings of ballet i have ever seen. I became enamoured with it and saw it three times. It returned to London instead of going on to the east coast. The choreographer was Matthew Bourne, the gentleman who did the all male Swan Lake. But with Cinderella he out did
himself. Actors who could dance and dancers who could act with a brilliant score by Prokofiev and with a w.w.2 London setting. All that creativity and brilliance and beauty was lost forever - as they did not put the performance on dvd. That poetically is one of the saddest things i have ever known.

random and un-poetic thoughts by the local village idiot. sorry about that.

Question Leandro - is the picture the result of "photoshop?" my reason for asking is i find it an unsettling picture and i wonder if it is just the technique used or other issues. no response to this question is an acceptable answer. none of this is meant as criticism and if that has occurred, i do apologize.

I miss your eyes
I miss your touch
You'll never know
Just how much

I miss what we had
The times we shared
You were the only one
Who really cared

The way you looked
Into my eyes
All things possible
Except lies

I loved you then
I love you now
I guess I'll love you forever
Somehow

i really wanted an art and poetry section for a while, but i realized there arent enough people interested in it.

... I stared at his naked form, glistening with rich olive oil, as he slammed his fists into the wrestling ground. And as he raised his heavenly head, I caught sight of his eyes, twin stars and by his stare I was undone....

Whoops! Got a bit carried away there! I'm afraid the only forum in which to express your creative energies is the gay stories one.
