While sleeping I need space and get knocked out. Cuddling and waking up every 15 minutes destroys me. But woken up I'm the hell of affectionate, cuddles, kisses, massages, caresses, everything you want to. The hours you need to.

I can cuddle all night, every night. Then when he gets a boner, I love to take care of that too.

This brings up an interesting question... for those affectionate ones in group 1 ("I can cuddle all night, every night"), how important is it that your partner is also in group 1? Would you choose to be someone who's in group 2? 3? 4?

I don't think I can be with someone who's a 3 or 4, and I'm not sure about 2... (Though one of my ex's is a 3, and I did tolerate it for 5 months...) To me, affection is VERY important, and I love it when a guy wants me to hold him, or snuggle up with him, all night long. Falling asleep with my boyfriend with his head on my chest, my hands around him, is the best feeling for me, really. I would feel like everything is perfect...

And then, I can't help but wonder, if this is just silly... if my judgment of a guy is clouded by how affectionate he is, and if I should be more rational...

While I'd prefer a 1, I think I could tolerate a 2. Definitely not 3,4.

And no, you shouldn't be more rational. Affection is important.

I'm extremely affectionate and could cuddle all night each night, but I'm not clingy, if that makes sense. I won't make a big deal if I don't get to. Or if heat's an issue. I put out a LOT of body heat, and it gets really hot and sweaty at night with me and another guy sometimes.

No you shouldn't be "rational" if affection is a huge part of your makeup then you should embrace it, like being gay ;-D. I think most of the guys I have cuddled up with have been 2s. I too love a guy to lie on top of me, head on my chest whilst I wrap my arms around him stroke him all night. Pure Bliss!
