How Are Houses So Cheap In America.

Ive been watching the lottery show lately.
David was cute but his appeal has faded for me

hes subdued here, not 'queeny' like he can be

Well that makes sense, he does come across as a big nelly.

He sure is a big queen---anyway Location Location Location---prices of homes vary widely in USA---an 800K home in NY or Calli would sell for 250K in Alabama.

There's a lot of dirty money being laundered in real-estate, particularly on the west coast. That drives up values artificially. It's unlikely that US economy has even grown in last 20 years. The wealthy have turned to cannibalizing what they can and robbing babies. Throw in externalities and we're going backwards quickly.

Real estate transactions are really secretive aren't they?

I agree. Too much rent seeking. It doesn't help that all these mergers are taking place.

They are in states that allow them to be. There are certtainly states that allow public access to sales data and tax assessment.

Personally i would rather live in Alabama than NY or California :-)

I watched a British show called My Flat Pack Home or House. Some of those were pretty reasonable.
