"How Bernie Sanders Lost Me... And Hillary Clinton Won Me Over"

So if we asked Hillary Clinton if she was misleading, lied or did anything for the sake of votes, she would say yes to all this? Give me a break.

Hillary Clinton would also claim her campaign was genuine and honest.

No, she would not. But she hasn't built her campaign on how she's not playing the game and isn't part of the establishment. You can't not see what the point is I'm making here.

I do, it is just hypocritical.

Hypocritical?

Hillary is running a campaign based on getting results. If she's in fact unable to show any results in her record, that's hypocritical. Do you think she can't?

Bernie is running a campaign based on being an outsider and refusing to play the game. If he's in fact playing the game, is that not hypocritical?

I am not using a double standard here. If Hillary and Bernie do the same, they're equally wrong. However, HYPOCRISY is decided on the basis of stated goals. While everyone is of course claiming to be innocent and made of honesty, not everyone makes it the focus of their campaign, and those who do are observed with higher scrutiny.

what "results" has Hillary achieved ? She ran for Senator in a democratic state, one that she had no connection with

She was appointed SOS under the guise of keep your friends close your enemies closer concept

"No we can't" is not a platform nor is it inspiring

Her whole reason to be at this point is that Bernie wants to do too much good

Pass

the idea that after two primaries, actually prior to either, that we will give up on principles because they're too hard or unattainable

is the equivalent of giving up

no thanks

This captures precisely why most countries don't hold primaries. We are actually unique in this. Most people make emotional decisions. We aren't Vulcans. That's why we have political experts made calculated and cool headed decisions about candidates.

Of course if you repeat ad nauseum all of these goodies liberals will just lap it up in a feeding frenzy.

But when the spell breaks and Bernie must win mainstream voters in Ohio, reality will fall smack on the pavement.

hillary lost every demo in NH. its clinton people who have lost sight of what is important.

The battle for what Bernie wants to do must be waged in Congress. If Obama couldn't do it with 60 Senators, then Bernie won't either.

that is the definition of defeatism and Clinton is the defeatist candidate.

The "smarter than the rest of us" Hillary supporters can't help themselves

And they don't have the ability to change anyone's minds

clearly

Don't talk about "us" as if we're not here. It's condescending.

I'm finding that Bernie's surge has more to do with psychological effects, for example speaking to the forum as if you presume you are in the majority and everyone else is a square. The tone of your post -generally rude- says it all, and I'm also seeing this form of groupthink on Facebook.

Anyway were not smarter just more practical. Plenty of people see it our way, otherwise I would vote for him myself.

Condescending is the notion that Hillary is better for us like medicine.

That you know better

That's condescending

I'm just calling you and the apologists out on it

and will continue to do so

Let Hillary actually make a good case and win

If she can

If you thought your beliefs were inferior that would be a strange opinion

Hopefully the best candidate will prevail, and remember, Obama lost the popular vote.

She can..and she already has..for me and a whole lot of other people.....

If she hasn't made a good case for you...I don't really care. You have the power to vote for anyone you want. Use it. I suspect your vote won't be for either one of them anyway.

that "whole lot of other people" has been shrinking a lot

there was a time when Bernie wasn't on the radar much less within 2 points nationally

you can suspect all you like that appears to be what you do - and it's unattractive frankly

the major difference between supporting camps is one thinks their candidate has the best ideas

and the other thinks that weak tea is tasty

one has a message of hope

and the other of resignation

pragmatism is code for defeatism
