So do you have a problem with people thinking you are gay? If so, you have a problem either with being perceived as gay or with being gay period, and need to work that out instead of worrying about what people think. Are you more concerned with other people's happiness than with yours? And believe me, this is serious advice.

2) spit in public a lot.

3) whenever you see obviously gay guys in public, call them faggots (and quickly run away or they might beat you to death with their purse).

4) talk about how many chicks you fucked the night before.

Why bother acting? You've already got a job you get paid for, why do another one you don't get paid for. Shame to spend most of your life trying to be something you're not.

I'm not a straight acting Gay I am a straight appearing Gay, I don't need to act, it is how I am. If I do appear Gay to others then so be it. In fact I often do when I stand up to homophobic comments made about others. You need to learn to be comfortable with yourself and stop worrying. Your sexuality is not their problem and you should not let it be yours. (*8*)
 
I think the harder you try to act straight the more fake it will look.

Just be yourself! If your co-workers think your gay, so what? They will only know if you tell them. Until then, let them guess. It will add to your mystique!
 
Be yourself. If we don't feel good about being gay, why would any straights be accepting of us?
 
Don't act. If you don't have it you can't perform it, it comes natural. As GL said, the more you try to more obvious it'd look...
 
What's the point of acting straight when you're not. Feel free and behave like you normally would do.
 
Or you could always get married (to a female), have a few kids (hence the need for a female) and hang out with married strait couples. You would appear "straighter", but would you be happy?!?

seriously If you arent oogling guys in the shower or something they probably think you are gay for some stupid reason like you reference art or dont talk about sports, or the latest issues on desperate housewives or something...people draw conclusions without the right details all the time. I believe its called the Gettier problem.
 
Dude, if you are gay you should not hide it. Why do you want to spend your life pretending to be what you are not? Life is to short, I'll be dammed if I will let anyone keep me from being who I am. Come out of the closet already, I came out a while back, trust me if you do you will live a much happier life.
Don't get me wrong, I respect anyone's decision to live their life closeted,
but it's your life, why would you do that? As to anyone in your life who has a problem with our sexuality, it's just their problem not yours and you will be happier not associating with people like that. Coming out for me was easy, sure there are downsides, but the good way outweighs the bad.
 
A lot of gay men behave in certain ways that are subtle and they're unaware of it, but others pick up on them. Eye/eyebrow movements, vocalizing certain ways, body gestures etc. Even really masculine guys do a lot of it.

What's the point in trying to hide them? You'll feel like a robot. Just be yourself, it's the only way you'll ever be truly happy.

Buy some spray on starch, and have an iron ready set at the 3 dots. Liberally spray yourself then iron all over getting all the creases out. Once done, you will be as stiff as a board if you've not managed to burn yourself first.

But the serious answer is, don't bother trying. Your act will slip sooner or later.
