How can I save this text?

What gsdx said worked fine for me. ..|

In IE, under File, you can choose, "edit with Frontpage" and it'll open the html up for you to copy and paste. You can also try, "edit with word". But you already got it with OCR, which just scans the characters.

Well, there ya go! The guys above are correct - the content of the page can still be copy/pasted with a Ctrl-A, despite the page having "locked out" any cursor interaction on the page. I should have checked that before I posted.

Anyways, glad the OCR solution worked for you - it might be a handy tool for other purposes in the future.

I see similarities. They similarily don't work on pages formatted to keep people from copying and pasting, like this one ;)

I don't understand the problem.

ctrl+A, ctrl+c, ctrl+v in the text processor. Works without problem.

What backwards browser are some of you guys using?

Open Word.......click File, Page Setup and set to Landscape.

Go to the webpage and put your cursor anywhere in the page. Hit Select All (OR Control + a), Right click and COPY (OR Control + c) then put your cursor in a new Word Document and select Paste (OR Control + v).

(You can also paste this into Notepad which will is REALLY handy as it strips ALL formatting and leaves plain text only.)

That was the problem bit. The rest works fine! :-)

Does anyone see any similarities here? ........

Getstoseven,

I tried 'select all' but it doesnt work. Copy and paste doesnt work. But thanks.

I was going on his response to your post in which 'Select All', etc, didn't work. He wasn't doing what you had recommended in your bracketted suggestions. I thought a repeat with only the keyboard commands might help.

Apparently it didn't.

My apologies for trying to help someone.
