That is a harsh, trollish point of view.

To the OP, in relation to what has been said, a soulmate does not necessarily mean someone you live with as a lover happily ever after. It CAN be that, but it can also be someone who is, in all essences, a brother (or sister) whom you've shared many past lives with. And, that said, in this life you've connected again and there is a bond there that goes beyond what is normally experienced.

My soulmate is my very good friend. There was a time when HE confused friendship everlasting with a sexual bond. We now recognize our lifetimes together, and our current friendship.
 
you move on because having self-esteem which is what keeps you going in life means getting rid of things that bring negativity into your world. dwelling on something like someone not reciprocating their feelings for you does NOT help you at all and can only prevent you from being truly happy.
