Maybe because Bostonians are too prim and proper to attend anything

Did she sing at other bath houses besides the Continental Baths in Manhattan? I remember being there once in the Seventies, and missing her gig by I think two days. That was a really fun place.
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm ALMOST certain that I once went to a gay bath house in Boston - I want to say it might have belonged to The Club chain?? This was around the same time, though - before most of you were born.
I couldn't find a mention in my cursory internet search for Boston gay history, though, but I was entirely astonished by an article I ran into which said that NONE of the currently-operating gay bars in Boston existed in 1994-95! Now that is amazing. The article also said there are now only one-half as many gay bars in Boston as there were fifteen years ago...
