I have no issue with putting my location down, and this town has only 20,000 people. If I lived ten miles west-southwest I could actually put Tennessee and that would throw people off, LOL. I could have also lived six miles north (Good Hope) or ten miles south (Industry) and my location would look fake. Or I could have lived about forty miles east and put down Cuba...

Well I don't care. I'm known here and it wouldn't take long to find me I guess. But this site prides itself on being a safety zone that is anonymous. The owners, admins, and mods don't post any identifying info so going by that no one else should either though I think it is not in the terms of service to do it or not. But that's what PM's are for. In a PM it's up to you how much you identify yourself.

Are you in the Fort Simpson that I'm thinking of - the one that's REALLY hard to get to (and only one road in and out)? I was actually there in 1986!

I put Sydney under mine cause people have heard it. When I joined JUB I lived in a place called Woy Woy. Who's heard of that place? It's easier to leave it as Sydney, especially as I'm moving back there this year.

Sydney has a whole ton of suburbs which aren't generally all that well known outside of 'Straya. But the same can be said of Los Angeles, Chicago...or even smaller places like Wilmington, Delaware.

When I was even farther north than where cgymike is (same trip, 1986), I saw an above-ground cemetery in either Tuktoyuktuk or Inuvik...can't dig down into permafrost very far.

Well that's not entirely true....not everyone here is out. What we have on facebook and what we have here are two entirely different things. I for one am not ready for my family and friends to know I'm bi. And on sites like facebook I don't add anyone I don't know.

As for my location, I've only found one person from the same city as me and he lives on the other side of town. Not like it really matters anyway since I go to an out-of-state college, so I couldn't meet with him even if I tried. Not that I'd expect anything to happen anyway. But now that I think about it, it would be interesting and cool to know someone from here in real life. I'd be nice to have someone non-virtual to talk to once in awhile for a change. But I'm wayyy too shy to want to meet with anyone anyway.

And if you must know, I'm currently attending school in York,PA.
