Thanks! I never thought match would work for me. On my match page I specifically said "I like making out like the next person, but that is where it stops. Do not expect sex until we get to know each other well." For weeks I only got maybe 5 hits a week. So finally after being down about it--i erased that message and in one week my number of hits went from 5 to 22. After talking to a few of those guys I IMMEDIATELY changed it back and my hits went down again. But low and behold one day... Anyway, match can work--give it some time!

As my memory serves, we both knew someone who lived in the town I used to live in. Our mutual 'enemy', as he is now, asked me to add him to my MSN contact list to see if he was online and ignoring him (enemy).

The facebook guy was one of the guys on the porch, but neither of us realized who were at the time. Later that night, he sent me a message and said he recognized me, and so we started hanging out...a lot. Then we just ended up dating.

My second boyfriend lived in the dorm I transferred into. A friend of mine in choir introduced us one night in the campus convenience store. This was right before Christmas break. Over break, she and I were talking on AIM and told me to come to his birthday party. I thought it was a little odd, seeing as I lived in Louisville and he lived in Frankfort, and I had only met him once. But she convinced me to come, and we started chatting online and having phone conversations everynight, and when we got back to school, we started dating.

Right now I'm not seeking a bf, but when I do, it probably won't be on a chat site. I met my ex-wife through a party. If you're out, that's typically where you have the greatest chance of meeting quality people--at social events, like parties and volunteering and hobbies.
