At work can be a homophobic place so even if there is a guy that you are interested could be risky.

Playing an online video game. We both played roughly the same time, and we sually finished 1-2, so we ran into each other a lot.

We met on JUB then physically met a couple of months later at the College I went to.
 
Second year of college, first class, first day of fall term. He was surrounded by girls, I thought he was the most beautiful guy I had ever seen--black hair, black eyes, cute accent. Five days later he introduced himself to me and asked if I wanted to have lunch. We hung out all afternoon, had dinner, hung out until 2 am. The attraction was immediate and mutual. It was another two months before we knew we felt the same about each other, however. Until then, I kept telling myself he couldn't possibly be gay, too.

All great post, you just never know when or where you will meet that special person ! I'm very picky and typically find something wrong with the first time you meet someone. However, I do try to know them better and you start to weigh out the good verses the bad.. Of course, I'm still single, but better single than in a relationship which your not totally into ! :) Just my thoughts ! And as for where, well that could just be any old place ! LOL
 
I met my partner at work. He actually worked for me. We worked alone a lot so it was pretty easy to get to know each other, after he finally got over being super shy. Which is something that really attracted me to him.

The real old fashioned way. We met at a local cruise spot. See, back in the day before the web, you actually had to go someplace where like mined guys were. We met, chatted, ___________, next thing you know, 32 years have gone by.

I had just broken up with a guy whom I had dated for three or four months. I found he had stolen my credit cards, charged a number of items and had obviously prepared to do more since I found all my numbers, codes, etc in his backpack. A good friend, Allen, told me I should go with him to Cobalt for "Retro" night on a Tuesday. I was just changing jobs and had the summer off.

We got to the bar and danced with each other. I then saw another guy who was quite cute and Allen spotted Barry (who he thought I would like). All four of us ended up dancing and then going to breakfast at the Diner in Adams Morgan. During breakfast, Allen kept texting (which is a big turn-off for Barry). He looked at Allen and said, "Are you setting up your next trick or a drug deal at this hour?" Allen got all in a huff and marched out, leaving Barry and the young attorney with me.

We all decided to go to my house and the hot tub on the roof. I could smell a threesome! lol! After we got out of the hot tub and back to the bedroom, the young attorney looked at the clock and freaked out that it was almost 4 a.m. He still lived with his parents and they did not know he was gay or out so he pulled his pants back on and left, leaving Barry and I. We had great sex!

We then started meeting every Wednesday for dinner and "sex time." Wednesday's quickly became Thursdays, Fridays, and many other days. We then decided to "go together" after about four months then became monogomous about Thanksgiving. We went on a cruise the next March and I proposed while sailing into Carasou (sp?). We married the following March and celebrated our first anniversary this past year!
