Meh I am British, and live in Amsterdam so rain is part of daily life for us! It can be annoying if you get caught out unexpected with rain and are not wearing the right clothes for it but generally its fine.

Same here , come to Scotland almost part of daily life . Though we did have 3-5 weeks of Sun..................This summer .................

It is a rare treat to have rain and it makes everything smell alive. We get either drizzle (tranquil) or great crashing thunderstorms (excited.)

I was saying this a friend the other day who is moving to Edinburgh in the new year and he was trying to claim that it rains just as much in the south east of England as it does in Scotland

I talk to myself and feel alone. Sometimes I'd like to quit because nothing ever seems to fit. I just hang around because there's nothing to do but frown. I guess they get me down. So do Mondays.
