Do you ever do it?
If not would you?
What would it take?
What would you sing?
What would it take for you to walk out if someone was really bad?

Yes.

Yes.

Nothing.

I enjoy doing fun things. I really like doing "Baby Got Back" with the heaviest gay accent I can muster. "Ladies, if your butt is round, and you want the triple-X throwdown, dial 1-900-LEX-A-LOT, and kick them nasty thoughts. Baby got back."

Nothing. I've heard utterly excruciating versions of "You Are So Beautiful", and I simply admire the fact that they probably know they ain't very good, but they go for it anyway.

Do you ever do it?
No
If not would you?
No
What would it take?
Whatcha offering?
What would you sing?
Whatcha want?
What would it take for you to walk out if someone was really bad?
Shoes :D

Some people really like it. Fine. Some people are actually good. Fine too.
Some people think they are good but are awful. Not fine.

It's supposed to be fun. One of my favorite karaoke moments was doing "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" with a co-worker who couldn't sing AT ALL. So instead of singing, she "testified". It was hilarious, and everyone laughed - not AT her, but WITH her. It was great.

It's not a singing contest. It's fun. :)

Do you ever do it? no. i'm not that brave.
If not would you? possibly. i would never say never.
What would it take? i don't know as yet.
What would you sing? maybe some sinatra.
What would it take for you to walk out if someone was really bad? only if my ears began to bleed.

At one time I was working as a bodyguard to a man because he sang karaoke and needed help. Long story short I got to go to a lot of competitions and heard the best of the best. It actually amazed me how good some were.

I've gone 3 times in the past year, and I've enjoyed it every time.

We always sing songs from the '90s - stuff that we grew up with, like the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears. "Don't Stop Believing" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" always come up, since they're incredibly fun to sing :)

I wouldn't walk out, even if they were terrible. People do it for fun; no one ever takes it seriously. And usually, people know they are bad, so they'll be laughing at themselves, or singing really dramatically to make it even more hilarious.

I would love to do it but I is scared.

I would need several drinks and at least ten people cheering me on. And maybe some singing lessons. I've always wanted to know how to sing, but I believe I'm tone def.

I've gone a couple of times with my friends. We sound shit, but it's fun.

I was staying at this dodgy hotel in Vietnam next to this karaoke bar. I went in to check it out, was fun watching them belt out these big ballads in broken english. Some of them took it sooo seriously. It was good fun.

If I were to do it I would need a bottle of Crown and Coke.

only ever when i was in asia
only ever when i was drunk on cheap asian beer
only ever when i was in a group of rowdy drunken fellow travelers

Ick. What's with you people, finding your courage in bottles? It's FUN. If you can do it with three drinks in you, you can do it with zero drinks in you. :)

I've had to go on stage to do some stuff. Several times. Actually, many times. The largest crowd? Over ten thousand. And I'm not great at that stuff, but you know what? Fifteen minutes after I leave, everyone is focused on what's going on on stage NOW, and I've retreated far to the back of their brains. So there's really no pressure, especially when you're in a karaoke bar with only thirty semi-drunk patrons around. Fifteen minutes after you leave the stage, nobody outside your group will remember you were on it. So get up there, fucking sing your balls off, and have a blast doing it already. :)

Thanks, I’ll stick with the bottle. (UU)

I only do crowds when I am aggressive, which makes me out to be an ass. It would take a few drinks to loosen me up.

karaoke is good fun as long as there's no proof that you did it afterwards. no photos, no video, no worries.

also helps to do it in a part of town you're never normally seen in.

No.
No.
Nothing on Earth would make me do it.
Nothing.
Just turn the fucking karaoke machine on and I'll be straight out the door to find a more amenable berth.

My co-workers and I used to go to Karaoke every Thursday night at one of the bars at a casino. It was great fun, even the bad performances were still entertaining.

I loved to sing "Love Shack" by the B-52's because you couldn't do it alone.

"You're What!"..."Tin Roof Rusted"

I always did the Fred Schneider part.
