How do you feel about Karaoke?

Karaoke is fun but usually when you are with a group of friends. My friends made me do the "Safety Dance" song by myself and I was nervous. To say the least, I didn't really do that well but I did do the "S-S-S-A-A-A-F-F-F"part at the beginning real well, hehe.

Oh yeah and I did "Oops I Did It Again" with one of my gal pals as well.

karaoke is for fun and people that don't sing particularly well aren't looked down upon it's just for entertainment.

I do it to keep myself from feeling nervous in front of large crowds (helps with public speaking) and I was raised with it so of course I'm going to still do it.

I've rocked the shit outta Guns 'N Roses' "Welcome To The Jungle" and "Paradise City" a few times...I've gotten applauses. I go bat shit crazy with Guns. >D

I also enjoy singing stupid songs just for the sake of the embarrassment...songs the likes of "Barbie Girl", "Like A Virgin", etc.

A few favorites in karaoke are "Bohemian Rhapsody" (awesome!), "Wonderwall", "Don't Speak" and others.


Once upon a time it'd take me getting drunk to get my ass up there and sing but not anymore.

I secretly would like to start singing more.

I love singing to some songs in rock band.

But I've learned more about different voice ranges and tones.

There are some songs that I can't really sing just because of the way my voice is. And there are some sings that I can probably really sing.

But I like singing some songs in rock band. I've done karaoke at my old college like twice. It was kinda fun. I did Piano Man and Breakaway. I did Breakaway as a duo.

I've sung some songs in Rock Band around friends once. I would NEVER do the bar karaoke though. I don't like the idea of getting drunk to get the courage to do karaoke. That idea just doesn't thrill me. I think I've done karaoke maybe once or twice on a cruise two.

I should probably do it some more. But eh maybe someday. It's fun to do from time to time I guess.
