How do you find out if a guy is gay??

If he looks at you in the eyes and smiles from afar, then he's gay. Straight men only look other men in the eyes and smile when they are being introduced.

one guy looked at me in the eye, but he was sitting with a girl, his girlfriend i presume. i kept looking at him from a distant and he kept looking back and waiting for the instance i would smile at him. i was not sureness of his gayness so i just stared at him. then the girl moved infront of him to block our eye contact. wtf, rude bitch, if he's interested in me. he clearly does not want you.

I agree with Noelie and Alley, eye contact is always THE sign.

If you look at a guy in his eyes and try to make an eye contact and the guy notices and returns the eye contact then be assured he is interested. No straight guy would return your eye contact. Not more than once at least. That's how long it takes for them to go from a "I'm really flattered" to "I shit my pants" phase.

Basically how I was hit on by a guy---he walked up and asked me if I wanted to play a game of pool with him. He was really attractive and I immediately said yes and while I was bending over to make a shot he asked--" Are you horny?" not really sure what you are but i am an intovert which makes making so much harder but after a hit or two and maybe a couple of drinks i get loosened and i tend to be outward.
I missed an chance in a grocery store a hot guy kept girning the eye and i being cold solber let it past by. god did i kick myself after that. if on the other hand you don't use a barrier you that much better. When I go out to pubs and clubs there are so many hot looking guys that dress and act gay, but who knows if they are???

I act pretty straight and don't really look too gay ... I don't like to be the center of attention either, but how are you supposed to discretely find out if a guy is gay without making a big deal about it?
