Magazines, put it in the trash. Don't be paranoid about it. If they're found by minors, hey! that's how most of us discovered our first ones. For DVDs, you can just sell them on Ebay so you don't waste a perfectly good product.

Last time I moved, I had way too much to burn or shred, and I was way too paranoid to put it in the trash. I mean, I'm out and all, but who wants the garbageman to know what you jerk off to? Although I did once get me a hot maintenance man that way... but I digress...

Anyway, I double-bagged them, put them in the trunk of the car and went to a large apartment building, where I put them in the dumpster. I didn't want to do it behind a store, cause I was afraid somebody would come running out and say "Hey! You can't dump your trash in our dumpster!"

Although I guess that could have led to "Wait... what is this stuff?... You got any more at home?" But there I go, digressing again....

Maintenance man! Tell us more. I once had an "affair" with the super of the building where I lived. Anyway, love all of the answers.

Trust me. I don't like getting rid of it as the next guy...but sometimes you just get to much. I had a huge stack of mags and need to get rid of some. Same with DVDs. I don't have such a problem anymore with the internet...however I am now on my 2nd 40GB external drive

Thanks for the great responses. I use to shred mags but my 4 page at a time shredder got tedious.

Most of my porn I wanted to get rid of is gone. For those of you who said you would take it! Next time I will contact you if I am getting rid of some!

But you know...what ticks me of, is if I was str8 I bet I would not care. I bet I would not even care if the kid down the street found them. But being a "model" citizen who happens to be gay, I care.

I am sure people after me apprieate finding IN Touch at the dentists and the advocate and playguy at the auto shop.

I hadn't thought of The Advocate as being something that needed to be disposed of so carefully, let alone as being pornographic. Along those lines, I sometimes pick up the local gay newspaper and just dispose of it along with the rest of my recycled newspapers. No biggie...
