Hello boys,
So, spring is fast approaching, and as such I've started working out and such again. But, what do I do to get tan?
I've never... NEVER had a tan. Heck, I spent 6 weeks in Costa Rica a while ago, and I was the only person out of the group who came back just as white as when I left. I've tried, but my skin just hates the sun (Not to mention, I really don't want to get skin cancer). So, I've been thinking about buying some kind of tanning lotion. But, with so many kinds out there, and the risk that one of them will turn me orange, I am a little apprehensive.

So, do any of you have any experience with the stuff out there? And could provide me with some suggestions?

Anyway, I'd really appreciate the help!

My goal is to be tan enough to wear a square-cut by the end of the summer without scaring everyone away, lol.
 
I'm tanned all year already. But why do you want to get tan so badly?
 
^If you get Fucker drunk enough, he might be inclined to share some of that dark-skinned DNA with you, yeeeaaahhh.
 
I gave up trying years ago, and I am perfectly happy as an Irish creme.
 
I'm fair skinned,
and I finally have a nice tan, year-'round. I'm 43, and it's a farmer's tan. I work outside without a hat.

I go once a week to the tanning salon....it keeps me ready for nice days like today or when I go to Florida or California (about every couple months).

During the summer, it is the natural tan on the beach.....
 
Eh. I don't like guys with tans as much. Especially older guys. I think they look alot hotter without tans. But then again I'm weird. I know my sister used to obsess about getting a tan. Fuck baking in that hot sun.

I'd rather simmer in a nice hot tub with a bunch of hot guys. Bear Soup :D

I grew up at the neighborhood pool, and always had a 'good' tan for a fair-skinned guy.

One of my first jobs as an adult was commercial landscaping, and I always built up gradually without getting burned.

Ever since then, it has always been a challenge. I get burned first, then it turns into a tan.

As of now, I don't even have a tan line! I don't want to look crusty and older than my years with a tan, but tan lines on a young guy with a 'glow-in-the-dark' tan turns me on more than a guy that tans in the nude. I just like the 'naughty parts' being highlighted in white!
 
I go to a tanning salon, but that's because I have a skin condition and tanning keeps it in check.
 
I'm the wrong person to ask. I have an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records under "pastiest Spic alive."
 
Nothing beats passing out on the front of a boat in the summer aftera long night of drinking and trying to fish hung over :) thats how i get my summer tan
 
take 1 qt of bloody mary...light on the bloody thank you

1 white unlined speedo and a beach towel

1 patio recliner by the pool with music

start at 10, rotate at 11, lv at noon for second bloody mary in the spa

1 pm light nap...might need more bloody less mary. nah, then it would get boring.

anyway, 3 days and this natural blond is golden tan, my skin tans easily but not real dark, in the dead of winter its cadaver tone or sunbooth
 
i love to be outdoors....camping, canoeing, hiking.....i just take off my clothes....and it happens
 
I keep my lilly white ass out of the sun. I also dont like self tanners as you can spot them a mile away. How ever you get a tan just becareful. Looking golden isnt worth getting skin cancer.
 
Regular sun plus a bit of light (factor 10 to 18) sunblock does me just fine.

And the best way to get a tan is not to lie in the sun, because it is DULL. What you need to do is get a few mates together with a frisbee or soccerball and hit your local beach for 2 hours on three consecutive (or close to) weekends. Sunblock your face immediately when you get there, and then apply to the rest of you after 30-40 minutes of running around like a kid on sugar.

Repeat throughout summer. By the time your tan is good - after the third week, or so - start by putting the light sunblock on as soon as you get there.

Sunblock is very important.
 
I used to tan by sprawling in the sun, or going to tanning salons.

Now I use the better stuff from the bottle, like from Chanel or such.....
 
Being from a very mixed mixed breed family, I already have a great complexion. Oh but I like tanned guys so much...a tall, muscled Caucasian guy with that nice tan.
