How do you tell if someone is gay

I do bleave its eye contact i always try to do that when im looking at guys

And also you should talk to the guy and see what they are about bring up gay issues.

I remember from school this one guy would hold my hand and play with it and look at me and smile. or he would rub my shouder or leg. I always tell people i have a girlfriend a fake one so people wont think im gay he would get so jealous and upset. I still talk to him time to time maybe i can ask him to hang out hopefully something sexual can happen

Guys who are out? No Problem

Closeted gays? I have no clue.

I would say it's quite the opposite, IMO. Closet queens over compensate their masculinity (straight acting, if you will) in order to appear straight and end up looking uncomfortable and ridiculous in their "straightness." They rarely fool anyone in spite of what they imagine.

Matching dogs! That's so cute! Were they corgis?

There isn't any one or another thing that marks the gay man out of a crowd... the way you learn to spot gays is to spend a hell of a lot of time with them. You start noticing certain vibes... not dead givaways like being a big flaming fairy, or touching their eyebrows with their pinkies (I don't think I've ever seen anybody do that), but just the tiniest little nuances.

Like I was in Hereford, Texas a couple of summers ago, and I was in this big store, I guess it was a WalMart, and this guy walked past me and I just knew. It wasn't the way he walked, as he didn't walk in any particular way, it wasn't the way he was dressed since he was shopping at WalMart and lived in Hereford Texas and everybody there dressed the same. He was just a tall, kind of round-shouldered Latino man who was completely unremarkable... but he had the eyes.

In his case, I think what I saw in his eyes was loneliness: he spotted a fellow creature (anybody with two eyes and steady connection with reality can tell I'm gay) and I could see his recognition as he saw me, connecting to me in loneliness... can you imagine being gay and Latino in a West Texas cow-town?

But it's frequently the eyes: gay men live through their eyes when they're growing up, because they're different and because they know that their difference will make them hated, they spend their formative years watching themselves and watching others in a way that "normal" people never learn to do.

At any rate, you can't take a correspondence course in Gay Eye Contact, you have to get amongst a lot of gays and get used to their varied ways. Then it comes clear.

Like many others have said, it's in the eyes. From personal experience, I have met men who have publicly announced that they are heterosexual; however, after looking into their eyes, there was a sense of longing that just is not there with guys who are heterosexual. I am not saying that these men are completely homosexual, but I am saying that they were not total heteros either.

............You mean it's NOT stamped on the bottom of your feet.......like mine?

"Made Gay in the U.S.A." (*8*) (*8*)

Um with some of the stuff that's being said i think i might be gay...........................I did not know that about myself so um who wants to be my first fuck ^_^ lol

Well Its hard looking and staring is not enough.... Since a lot of men stare at me some even winks at me and I can't tell if they're gay, bi or straight. One thing I'm sure the only thing that let you know what he is when he comes up to you and started talking to you about gay things and stuff.

But when you're in clubs and disco bars there's always a possibility that 2 out of 5 male on the bar are gay... I never failed to notice that

Oh, BARBREY, you're better of straight if you ask me... ^^ But if you think so you are gay nothing really makes a difference you're still be demanded in most places...

Well, if you are doing him from behind ;), and you reach around to *|* him off, only to discover he is already hard- He is probably gay....(!)

Gay men use French and Italian phrases scattered throughout their conversation (assuming they are not French or Italian of course!).

Anyone I hear saying 'molto bene' or 'bien sur' gets my gaydar humming.

Um. . . that would be me, also! !oops!

me too...in what place we can complain? :grrr:

but there was this one time, when i went to new york for vacation with my family, two guys sitting next to each other in the sub, they weren't stereotypical or something like that, but there was something...they were cute as hell and there was something telling me that they were gay...and im 100% that they were...

and the eye thing...i think that's the way that someone would now about me....lol

ok

this is the secret

you put one hand up their ass, and then you distract them with some conversation about the latest martha stewart show.....

while they are talking about her new tappas recipes, you sneak the other hand in there

if theres enough room to clap, they are gay

if ur in a gay bar dosent that automatically mean they are gay??

Not always. I met this really hot guy and got to talking. Found out he was straight, but liked the atmosphere and conversation with gay guys. #-o
