As a Medical IT student undergoing Industrial training in his last year of university, I work part time at a hospital where I observe the workflow, interview staff and patients, and help out as a (male) nurse .

Anyway, there are supposed to be some university sporting events going on in a few weeks and it seems a lot of the really hot athletes just end up at the hospital when I'm there with the doctor.

I know you all would think I'm the luckiest person getting to see half naked / full naked guys everyday and watching the doctor examine them and sometimes even giving guys prostate exams myself, but ... I find the attraction a distraction most of the time.

Today, it was a swimming team from one university (don't know how many more to go) and I got home and was still hard and in 2 whacks I just came all over myself. I want to know if you guys have any advice on how to stay cool and focused, because I want to be as professional as possible.

Honestly, nudity doesn't seem like such a big deal once you've been around naked people for a while.

I had to draw and study nude models for over a year for some of my classes. I was nervous about how I would behave around nude males. After the first week I'd already moved on from thinking about it. Our model would come in and remove his clothes and the fact that he was nude became very inconsequential. I recommend trying to focus on the task at hand, or your job I guess. Eventually you won't think twice about it.

Yeah, you learn to separate nudism from sex; the human body in and of itself isn't a dirty sex object like the Puritans had us believe. I only really get aroused if it's a purposeful sexual display.


One thing I could suggest: if you want to remain in the medical field, specialize in gynecology; i'm more than sure that a gay guy will never be aroused by a diseased vagina.

walkingonsnow if you are going into the medical IT side of things you should be
ok as your proximity and actual contact with patients should be minimum,unless i am picking it up wrong and you are talking about intensive therapy?
Sorry if it seemed like i was biting your head of on my earlier posting cause i really did not mean to .
You have had some really good advice from the other guys and honestly after a
while you really dont even think about it as your training kicks in,though i have to admit a few times i have thought to myself afterwards god that guy was really handsome ,you are only human buddy trust me after the novelty wears off you will usually not even notice.
